Quick Takes from the Past 24-48 Hours

The following is an installment of Trump-Vance team accomplishments (each article is linked for further info):

(NOTE: Relax! We the People may not have even thought of some of this stuff, but the Trump-Vance ‘A’ team is already on top of it.)

1. Trump Refuses to Bow Down to Communist Agitators, Orders ICE to Double Down on Deportations in Leftist-Run Cities

President Trump directed ICE to intensify its deportation operations, specifically targeting sanctuary cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. He commended ICE agents for their courage and resilience in the face of violent anti-ICE demonstrators, who have attacked officers with glass, Molotov cocktails, and other dangerous objects.

Trump also criticized Leftist leaders, such as Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, for attempting to obstruct federal immigration enforcement. Bass and other liberals have accused the administration of targeting “innocent illegal immigrants,” which is improper terminology as well as a contradiction in terms underscoring the broader disconnect between left-wing rhetoric and the rule of law.

However, Trump made it clear anti-ICE protests will not stand in the way of what he calls the “single largest mass deportation program in history.” Instead, he announced plans to expand deportation efforts in major cities where millions of illegal aliens reside. He accused the Left of encouraging illegals to come to America to manipulate elections, expand their voter base, grow the welfare state, and deprive hardworking American citizens of good-paying jobs and benefits.

2. President Trump’s Masterstroke

Surprise was an essential component to making last week’s dramatic move, dealing a string of crushing blows to Iran’s military and intelligence leadership, as well as the regime’s world-threatening nuclear program.

The Israelis engaged in deception and subterfuge of their own, of course, but the President of the United States played an integral role. While his administration made notable moves in the Middle East to protect American lives, Trump sent every other signal that even if an Israeli attack were to occur at some point, it was not imminent. He prominently went to the theater. His Defense Secretary very publicly attended a baseball game. His envoy sounded committed to a new round of pending negotiations with Iran. Trump himself stressed his desire to resolve the Iran nuclear problem diplomatically.

The America-hating and American-killing regime was fooled. They dismissed repositioning of resources and upgraded security protocols in the region as grandstanding ahead of yet more talks. They were wrong. In the first hours of Israel’s assault, some observers wondered if Netanyahu and the Israelis had ignored Trump’s wishes and warnings. Not so. Trump knew “everything,” he said. He assisted the Israelis with misdirection, approved their attack, and provided key American support. He also revealed that giving the thumbs-up to move was also the culmination of his own promise. Brilliant:

Iran’s chain of command is obliterated. Those top officials who have not yet been killed are reportedly seeking to flee the country. Multiple nuclear sites have been bombed. Major nuclear scientists on Israel’s target list has reportedly been eliminated. With the Israeli Air Force establishing airspace dominance over Iran (a secret emergency meeting of Iran’s Air Force command was identified, located, and taken out by Israel), the regime is effectively defenseless. Israel’s operation will continue until they choose to stop. Much like the world witnessed in the Hezbollah decapitation, it is now obvious how deeply Israeli intelligence had burrowed into Iran’s regime and territory. Some of Israel’s initial strikes against Iran came from inside Iran. Extraordinary.

3. Trump Voiced Firm Stance Against Wind Energy Expansion

President Trump dropped the hammer on wind energy during remarks made while signing measures designed to reverse California’s electric vehicle mandate. He vowed not to approve any expansion of wind energy generation outside of emergency scenarios.

He declared:

We’re not going to let windmills get built because we’re not going to destroy our country any further than it’s already been destroyed.

Further:

You go and look at these beautiful plains and valleys, and they’re loaded up with this garbage that gets worse and worse looking with time.

4. BOOM: Trump Will Not Join G7 in Calling for De-Escalation between Israel and Iran

President Trump is at the G7 in Canada today and he is standing firm behind Israel. He will not sign onto a joint statement calling for de-escalation between Israel and Iran that had been drafted by G7 leaders in Canada.

A White House official said in response to a question about Trump’s plans when it came to the joint statement:

Under the strong leadership of President Trump, the United States is back to leading the effort to restore peace around the world. President Trump will continue to work towards ensuring Iran cannot obtain a nuclear weapon.

The president’s decision not to sign the statement sets up an immediate divide with his counterparts before the summit even gets underway in the Canadian Rockies.

5. Free Ride Ends: Illegals Self-Deport due to Trump Cracks Down

Thousands of illegal aliens have already used the new CBP Home app to self-deport, and border crossings and encounters have dropped by 95% compared to The Regime peaks.

ICE arrests have more than doubled in 2025, with over 158,000 illegal aliens taken into custody, 75% of them criminal offenders, including more than 600 members of the violent Tren de Aragua gang.

ICE detention capacity has expanded from 41,500 to 54,500 beds, and the strategic use of military assets for deportation flights has increased efficiency while signaling a serious commitment to enforcement.

And as successful as the Trump administration has been with forced deportations, self-deportation costs taxpayers 70% less than traditional deportation methods.

The CBP One app, once used under The Regime as a tool to facilitate illegal entry, has been transformed under Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem into a platform for facilitating self-deportation. The app now offers illegal immigrants a $1,000 cash incentive upon confirmed departure, free travel assistance and documentation, forgiveness of failure-to-depart fines, potential future legal immigration opportunities, and de-prioritization for ICE enforcement actions.

The total cost of each self-deportation falls well below the $17,121 average cost of traditional deportations.
