Sadly, this is the democrats’ version of the American dream: A Mexican national snuck into the United States, stole a job from an American, and then murdered a coworker. As you can see, this illegal immigrant was clearly trying to forge a better life for himself and his family while also making America a better stronger nation. Okay, maybe that’s not so clear to people not cursed with the defective “liberal gene.” This is yet another horror story about the failure of our immigration policies and enforcement.
Fox News reports that the fishing vessel, the Captain Billy Haver, was sailing off the coast of Nantucket, when 27-year-old Franklin Freddy Meave Vazquez said “f*ck it” and murdered one of the other crew members. With a knife in one hand and a hammer in the other, Vazquez attacked two of his shipmates. One of the victims died, while the other managed to survive.
I’ll be damned, there’s a Limerick in this story:

Who wanted to kill and said ‘f*ck it’

And a murderous plan
Made someone kick the bucket
When the rest of the crew tried to subdue Vasquez, he climbed up the ship’s mast, but was eventually captured and detained. The captain of the ship sent out a distress signal and a German cruise ship responded. The two victims were taken aboard the cruise ship where a doctor declared one of them deceased. I can imagine the passengers were a little freaked out by the incident.
Vasquez was taken back to port, arrested, and charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted murder within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States. The ship was based out of Virginia, but Vasquez was arrested in Massachusetts
Now here’s the part that makes liberals feel all warm and fuzzy about the great melting pot we know as America: Vasquez is an illegal immigrant from Mexico, who had previously been deported. And it gets worse because he was actually arrested last March in Newport News, VA for abduction by force and was allowed to bond out of jail.
This is insane to me. This scumbag was arrested a few month ago for a violent kidnapping and prosecutors and the judge were aware that he is an illegal immigrant who had already been deported. Yet, for some reason, they figured he wasn’t a huge flight risk or a danger to the community and let him post bail.
Also, is there no background check system for crew members of the Captain Billy Haver? You can’t even get a job at McDonald’s without some sort of screening, but this ship hired an illegal immigrant kidnapping suspect. I bet the ship institutes a background check after this because obviously the Vasquez experiment didn’t turn out so well.
Massachusetts is a “sanctuary state” that protects illegal immigrant criminals from federal immigration officials, but luckily Vasquez’s crime was a federal offense and he won’t be getting a liberal “get out of jail free card.” If convicted, Vasquez faces life in prison and should he outlive his sentence, he will once again be deported. Not that it does any good to boot these violent criminals.
Now we can just sit back and wait for the outraged liberal media to work the left into a frenzy over this story about President Trump’s cruel and inhumane immigration enforcement policies. They’ll play up that a “hard working” Mexican immigrant was arrested at his job and conveniently leave out the part about how he beat and stabbed someone to death.
