Trump Derangement Syndrome isn’t just an hysterical reaction to the results of a feee and fair election, it’s also the way democrats govern. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo just pardoned a bunch of immigrant criminals to spite President Trump. It’s not my opinion he did this to attack Trump, he actually listed his desire to strike a blow to the President as the reason why he did it. He’s putting criminals on the street to own the Prez.
As you probably know, under President Trump immigrants, both legal and illegal, are subject to deportation if they are convicted of any crimes. This is no different than how things were under Obama or any other president, but with Trump in charge it is suddenly an outrage. In response to normal immigration enforcement, Andrew Cuomo pardoned immigrant criminals so they are no longer in danger of deportation. It’s unclear if these immigrants he pardon are illegal, but I suspect at least some of them are.
Here’s a really crazy thing from Cuomo’s press release:

That’s a very oddly-worded sentence, but so is the message. President Trump is trying to secure our border from illegal invaders, not wage war. Even if Trump was waging war on the border, how is that border war also a war against immigrant communities in New York which is thousands of miles away? Cuomo didn’t explain, but he did say this equally stupid thing:
“While President Trump shuts down the federal government over his obsession with keeping immigrants out, New York stands strong in our support for immigrant communities. These actions will help keep immigrant families together and take a critical step toward a more just, more fair and more compassionate New York,” said Cuomo.
It’s the democrats who shut down the government over their refusal to fund modest border security. President Trump isn’t trying to keep immigrants out, he’s trying to keep illegal immigrants out and there’s a huge difference.
Because Cuomo is a complete jackass, his press release included quotes from people praising his efforts to make New York less safe. This is the funniest one:
“At a time when the federal government is shut down over a demand for a wall that is designed to exclude and marginalize those who seek a better life in this country, how fitting it is that New York State is tearing down walls, and recognizing the value of individuals who have demonstrated that their past is not their future,” said Elizabeth Gaynes, Osborne Association, Executive Director.
So building a wall on the Southern border excludes and marginalizes people seeking a better life? That may be the dumbest take on border security I’ve ever heard. You could say the same thing about prison walls. The people locked up certainly want a better life on the outside, but unfortunately they are not authorized by law to leave. Well, most of them, Cuomo changed that for a few scumbags.
Cuomo granted clemency to 29 people in his effort to stick it to Trump, but really he’s sticking it to the people of New York who have to live with these scumbags. He pardoned 16 drug dealers, 2 arsonists, a car thief, a counterfeiter, an armed robber, and a first-degree assaulter. He also commuted the sentences of 2 armed robbers, an illegal gun possessor, and 4 murderers. No seriously, he let 4 f*cking murderers out of jail to spite Trump.
In addition to striking a blow against President Trump, Cuomo also said he granted clemency to these losers and scumbags to protect immigrant communities. This is the same thing liberals say to defend their sanctuary policies; that it will make communities safer. These kooks can spin shit any way they want, but more violent criminals in a community makes that community less safe. Again, this is not my opinion, but an actual fact.
