Ted Kennedy Sexual Assault Sounds Just Like Allegation Against Brett Kavanaugh

The late Ted Kennedy didn’t just kill women, he also sexually assaulted them. As a democrat this was of course never a big deal to other democrats who only get outraged when baseless accusations of sexual misconduct are leveled at Republicans. Back in 1985 Ted Kennedy and fellow democratic senator Christopher Dodd assaulted a woman at a restaurant and it sounds eerily similar to the sexual assault that Christine Blasey Ford claims was committed against her by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

Check out this archived article from GQ about what a drunken lout Ted Kennedy was:

In December 1985, just before he announced he would run for president in 1988, Kennedy allegedly manhandled a pretty young woman employed as a Brasserie waitress.

It is after midnight and Kennedy and Dodd are just finishing up a long dinner in a private room on the first floor of the restaurant’s annex. They are drunk. Their dates, two very young blondes, leave the table to go to the bathroom. (The dates are drunk too. “They’d always get their girls very, very drunk,” says a former Brasserie waitress.) Betty Loh, who served the foursome, also leaves the room. Raymond Campet, the co-owner of La Brasserie, tells Gaviglio the senators want to see her.

As Gaviglio enters the room, the six-foot-two, 225-plus-pound Kennedy grabs the five-foot-three, 103-pound waitress and throws her on the table. She lands on her back, scattering crystal, plates and cutlery and the lit candles. Several glasses and a crystal candlestick are broken. Kennedy then picks her up from the table and throws her on Dodd, who is sprawled in a chair. With Gaviglio on Dodd’s lap, Kennedy jumps on top and begins rubbing his genital area against hers, supporting his weight on the arms of the chair. As he is doing this, Loh enters the room. She and Gaviglio both scream, drawing one or two dishwashers. Startled, Kennedy leaps up. He laughs. Bruised, shaken and angry over what she considered a sexual assault, Gaviglio runs from the room. Kennedy, Dodd and their dates leave shortly thereafter, following a friendly argument between the senators over the check.

Okay, now let’s compare that story to one Christine Blasey Ford told about her encounter with Brett Kavanaugh. She has changed her story many times, but at certain points it was very similar to the Ted Kennedy sexual assault. Ford says that she was at a party with 4 other people, just like the 4 people in the Kennedy story. Ford says that Kavaaugh and his friend Mark Judge were very drunk, just like Kennedy and Dodd. When the other two people were not around, Ford says Kavaugh picked her up and threw her on a bed, like Kennedy threw Gaviglio on a table when their two dates weren’t around.

At this point in both stories, the women is sexually assaulted. Kennedy rubbed himself on the waitress and Ford alleges Kavanaugh rubbed her. Ford says that Kavanugh’s drunk friend Mark judge jumped on the bed while she was being assaulted, while Kennedy threw Gaviglio on his drunk friend Dodd while assaulting her.

Ford said that Kavanaugh assaulted her in the early 1980’s in the Washington DC area, while Kennedy assaulted a woman in the early-mid 1980’s in the Washington DC area. The only real difference between these stories is that the Ted Kennedy assault was witnessed by people, while no one saw or remembers Kavanuagh assaulting Ford. Also, Ford never mentioned this to anyone until 2012, and didn’t use Kavanaugh’s name in relation to the alleged assault until he was nominated to the Supreme Court in July of this year.

I’m just going to throw this out there: Ford remembered this Kennedy story from 1985, when she was 18 or 19, and has somehow convinced herself that it happened to her and that Brett Kavanaugh was the drunken attacker. Either that, or she used the Kennedy assault as the template to go after Kavanaugh as part of her liberal agenda to stop his Supreme Court nomination.

Ford can’t say where this assault took place, has struggled with a specific year, and has no idea how she got to the party or left the party. That’s a pretty good indication that what she thinks happened never actually happened. Many people have floated the idea that she has a false memory implanted in her head and now I think it’s pretty obvious where that false memory came from.
