Hollywood Is Intent On Delivering A GOP Victory In the Midterms

For some reason liberal celebrities can’t understand that pushing their whacko leftist politics on average Americans is a major turn-off. Hollywood went balls-deep for Hillary Clinton and single-handedly delivered the White House to Republican Donald Trump. Alyssa Milano turned almost every special election it the past couple of years for Republicans simply by endorsing the democrat. Having learned nothing, Hollywood is giving one last major push for the midterms next week to guarantee that the GOP keeps control of the House and Senate. I give Hollywood a lot of crap, but it turns out they are decent people who really care about the direction of this country.

First up we have this video of celebrities (I guess) telling women to vote. They don’t come out and say vote for democrats, but they definitely say vote for democrats.

I know who maybe 5 of those people are (who’s that chick with the unibrow?), but apparently they are all celebrities. I do know that Jodie Foster directed this, which considering it’s a bunch of static shots, means she yelled “action” and “cut” a few times. I smell an Oscar for this.

My absolute favorite part about this is how these women mention gun control several times and then say that they care about “all of our rights.” They pass off free health care, illegal immigration, and global warming as rights, but don’t think the actual 2nd Amendment right of gun ownership qualifies.

Not to be outdone, even more celebrities are holding a telethon the day before the elections next week to get people to vote. Again, they don’t say vote for democrats, but everyone involved is a frothing-at-the-mouth liberal, so they are saying vote for democrats.

This is from Reuters:

Hollywood celebrities including Jane Fonda, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Amy Schumer will take part in an online telethon on Monday to urge young people to pledge to vote in Tuesday’s congressional midterm elections.

This telethon, unlike traditional ones, will not ask for money. Instead, viewers will be urged to call in to a celebrity phone bank and pledge to vote in the next day’s election.

What? Liberals are not asking for money? That has to be a misprint.

Reuters reports that there will be over 50 celebrities, but the only other ones they list are Judd Apatow, Chelsea Handler and Olga Kay, which is another way of saying there aren’t really any celebrities participating. It will be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook Live, and Comedy Central’s website, which is another way of saying that almost nobody will watch this.

This, I guess, is supposed to be a serious news article from Reuters, but there’s plenty of comedy in it like this:

Many Hollywood celebrities have urged their fans to support Democrats in federal and state races to fight President Donald Trump’s agenda and increase oversight of his administration.

Oh, are there some Hollywood celebrities who haven’t urged their fans to hate on Donald Trump and the Republicans?

This is pretty funny too:

The voter telethon is described as nonpartisan. It is backed by When We All Vote, a nonpartisan, nonprofit campaign launched by former first lady Michelle Obama to encourage voting.

Nonpartisan? From Michelle Obama? Are we talking about the same She-Hulk with the unsightly budge who is married to former occupier of the White House Barack Obama? If it’s the same Michelle Obama, she’s definitely partisan. Just looking at the people involved reads like a who’s who of Hollywood Trump Derangement Syndrome suffers. Do you think Jane Fonda is going to encourage people to vote for a Republican candidate?

With so many tight races across the country which will determine which party controls Congress, this last ditch effort by liberal elitist celebrities to tell people how to think and vote will surely deliver both the House and Senate for the Republicans. Thanks Hollywood. Keep it going in 2020 so we can have another 4 years of Donald Trump too.
