With the midterm elections only days away, the democrats were really counting on that migrant caravan reaching the US to help put them over the top. Their chances at a “blue wave” just got a little dimmer because a massive voter fraud ring in Texas was recently busted. Don’t worry, they still have dead voters, out of state voters, and double voters to make it look like Beto O’Rourke was a viable candidate in the Lone Star State. For a thing that liberals claim doesn’t exit, there sure is a lot of voter fraud in existence, isn’t there?
The Fort Worth Telegraph-Star reports that a massive voter fraud operation was busted up earlier this week:
Earlier this month, four women were arrested — [Leticia] Sanchez, her daughter, Leticia Sanchez Tepichin, and Rosa Solis and Laura Parra — after being indicted on more than two dozen felony counts of voter fraud.
Officials allege the women were paid to target older voters on the city’s north side “in a scheme to generate a large number of mail ballots and then harvest those ballots for specific candidates in 2016.”
The news also threw in this bit of comedy:
The notice did not specify which candidates the suspects were allegedly paid to support, but it noted that Sanchez and others marked down-ballot candidates “without the voter’s knowledge or consent.”
Really? We don’t know which candidates these women were fraudulently casting ballots for? Is there even a hint that these bogus votes went for Republican candidates? The women worked for a former democratic party leader who financed the whole operation.
As far as I can tell, what these women did was illegally request mail-in ballots on behalf of the elderly and enfeebled. They then forged these people’s signatures, filled out the ballots the way they wanted, and sent them in. It also appears that they submitted these altered ballots twice: once by mail and a second time by faxing so it could be a double-voting scam as well.
Stuart Clegg, the former democratic party official who paid these women, was actually contracted by democratic candidates as a consultant. He defended his vote fraudster employee saying, “I know Leticia. I know that she’s a woman of fine character and I have no reason to believe that she would do anything illegal.”
While it’s clear Clegg doesn’t know the meaning of the word “character” he is also a little confused about the term “conspiracy to defraud.”
“There was no conspiracy to defraud any election,” said Clegg.
These women stole people’s ballots and filled them out without their knowledge. The only way this isn’t a conspiracy to defraud an election is if, by pure coincidence, all the people who had their ballots stolen would have voted for the candidates the women filled out for them. Even then, it’s still highly illegal what they did.
Clegg raised to the ridiculousness to dizzying levels by adding, “When Republicans do it, it’s campaigning. When Democrats do it, it’s harvesting. At the end of the day, what we’re talking about is helping people who want to vote to go vote legally. How is that harvesting?”
When exactly do Republicans do anything like this? I’ve never heard about it and I write about every single voter fraud case I come across and it’s always democrats. In all, these women are charged with over 100 counts of fraud and forgery, which sounds like the exact opposite of “voting legally” to me and everyone else with a basic understanding of the English language.
And while the facts of this case make it hard for liberals to continue to deny the existence of voter fraud, they still have the race card:
Attorneys representing Leticia Sanchez Tepichin have said this case — which they note was announced just weeks before the Nov. 6 midterm election — is a political move designed to prevent minorities from heading to the polls this election.
Have you ever heard of something as liberal as this? They are trying to say that cracking down on voter fraud is really racially motivated voter suppression. Al Sharpton would be proud of this race-hustling attempt.
Much like how Italian-American organized criminals deny the existence of the Mafia, democrats say that voter fraud isn’t real, like Bigfoot. If voter fraud were Bigfoot we would be under a Sasquatch invasion because that shit is everywhere.
