Liberals claim to “believe in science” which is a weird way of saying they accept empirical truth. It’s also not true as they chose to believe science that supports their twisted ideology while rejecting anything that contradicts it. Liberals have a junk science narrative that they are not racist while conservatives are raging bigots. A new study suggests that white liberals talk down to black people, which is racist even using the liberal scientific method. It’s a guarantee the the left will dismiss these findings even thought they come from an extremely liberal source.
Yale Insights reports on a new study that completely busts the liberal myth that they are not racist:
Racial bias can put people of color at a disadvantage when interviewing for a job, buying a house, or interacting with the police. New research suggests that bias may also shape daily interactions between racial minorities and white people, even those whites who tend to be less biased.
According to new research by Cydney Dupree, assistant professor of organizational behavior at Yale SOM, white liberals tend to downplay their own verbal competence in exchanges with racial minorities, compared to how other white Americans act in such exchanges.
The study looked at 25 years of speeches delivered by both democratic and Republican candidates. They compared speeches delivered to mostly black audiences and mostly white audiences. The conclusion? Democrats dumb it down for the black audiences:
The team found that Democratic candidates used fewer competence-related words in speeches delivered to mostly minority audiences than they did in speeches delivered to mostly white audiences.
But…
The difference wasn’t statistically significant in speeches by Republican candidates…

The researchers didn’t just analyze politicians, they also developed a series of experiments to test the ways white people interact with black people. The conclusion? Liberals dumb it down for black people:
The researchers found that liberal individuals were less likely to use words that would make them appear highly competent when the person they were addressing was presumed to be black rather than white.
But…
No significant differences were seen in the word selection of conservatives based on the presumed race of their partner.
Study co-author Cydney Dupree remarked that the way white liberals talk to black people is “patronizing” and accused white liberals of using “stereotypes” while interacting with blacks.
“It was really surprising to see that for nearly three decades, Democratic presidential candidates have been engaging in this predicted behavior,” said Dupree. “It was kind of an unpleasant surprise to see this subtle but persistent effect.”
Of course it was surprising and unpleasant. She probably went into the study believing conservatives are racist while liberals are not and proved the exact opposite.
The study shows that white liberals think black people are unintelligent and beneath them. They talk down to blacks because they don’t view them as their equals. It also shows that conservatives don’t dumb it down for anyone and treat everyone with respect.
Dupree is going to do another study to see if black people are offended by white liberals treating them like they’re stupid. Considering the blind devotion black people have to the Democratic Party, the answer to that question is probably “no.”
Liberals will no doubt burn these researchers at he stake for heresy they way Dark Age Europeans rejected basic physics and astronomy. If they think the science of their own racism is upsetting, what till they crack a history book and find out who owned slaves, formed the KKK, segregated the South, and threw Japanese Americans in internment camps.
