Mitt Punchy Romney

By Ben Garrison

In a recent editorial appearing in the Washington Post, Mitt Romney claimed ‘the president shapes the public character of the nation.’ He then went on to say Trump’s character falls short.

Romney is a big government lover. Such people think nothing can happen without government, including getting one’s character shaped. Therefore, he thinks it’s the president’s job to shape our characters. He thinks presidents need to be nice and polite in order to set an example to the citizen rabble.

Typical elitist, pompous, out of touch, and authoritarian nonsense from Mr. Romney. We didn’t elect Trump because he’s polite, nice or kind. H.W. Bush was nice and kind. He was also traitor and war criminal. No, we elected Trump to drain the swamp and remove Deep State cheerleaders such as Romney from power.

Romney doesn’t realize this nation already has character—that’s why we voted for Trump. We voted for someone who wants to get the job done. Someone who isn’t owned by Wall Street or Deep State globalists. Someone who wants to cut red tape. Someone who is a nationalist—he places America first. Someone who wants to end the endless wars. Trump is accomplishing this and I applaud him for taking us out of Syria and then finally ending the useless 17 year old war in Afghanistan.

Mealy-mouth Mitt disagrees. Obama couldn’t end wars and neither would Mitt. He claims America shouldn’t be the world’s policeman, but then goes on to say we must remain the world’s policeman. Mitt equates nationalism with ‘tribalism,’ racism and divisiveness. What, we’re not allowed to protect our borders without being called names? I’m sure Mitt has a nice wall around his property, as does Pelosi, Hillary and Obama.

Mitt Romney could not defeat Fraudbama, who was an extremely flawed and corrupt opponent. Perhaps Romney was the globalist choice for designated loser. Regardless, he is a loser and it must irk him to see Trump, a political novice, win the White House. It appears that Romney has inherited the Deep State mantel from John McCain along with his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

RINO (Republican In Name Only) Romney may even decide to run against Trump in 2020. If he does, the Mormon Senator from Utah will receive a thorough and well-deserved pummeling. He has it coming.

Mitt Romney’s Self-Serving Attack On Trump Stains His Own Character

Via The Federalist

Mitt Romney rung in the new year by virtue signaling to America. Earlier this week, the former Republican presidential candidate, now a senator from Utah, penned an op-ed for the Washington Post attacking President Donald Trump’s character.

Romney could have written his opinion article any time over the last two years. President Trump hasn’t changed one iota from candidate Trump, but Romney waited to fire until he had secured the Republican nomination for the open Utah Senate seat and then won the general election in November.

The junior senator from Utah attempted to explain away the expedience of his silence by suggesting in Tuesday’s op-ed that “the Trump presidency made a deep descent in December,” with the departures of Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly. But those resignations have nothing to do with Romney’s claimed criticism of Trump—the president’s character.

And what about Romney’s character? A man of true moral mettle would not mute his criticism of the president in order to ensure an electoral victory, then, once secure in his senatorial slot, proclaim to the nation that Trump lacks the character to lead our country.

Romney’s op-ed served one purpose only: self-congratulatory adulation. “Yes, I am a Republican, but I am nothing like that evil man in the White House,” he may have well written. Instead Romney hid behind promises to “speak out against significant statements or actions that are divisive, racist, sexist, anti-immigrant, dishonest or destructive to democratic institutions.”

“Green” Socialism is Still Socialism

By Thomas DiLorenzo

Upon taking control of the U.S. House of Representatives the first thing America’s Marxist Party did was to propose a Soviet-style, communistic destruction of American capitalism labeled a “Green New Deal.”

The Party chose as its spokesperson for this totalitarian venture a young woman named Sandy Ocasio who grew up in one of the wealthiest enclaves in America, Westchester County, New York, but who decided to lie about this to get into politics by calling herself “Alex from the Bronx.” Sandy sounds like a poorly-educated-but-well-indoctrinated young communist with a ninth-grade mentality.

She proudly labels herself a “democratic socialist” but as Ludwig von Mises explained, there really is no difference between communism and socialism: they are both attacks on private property and economic freedom. She seems clueless about just about everything she talks about in public, whether it is the Constitution, especially the economy, the structure of government, history, etc. This is the person the American Marxist Party has chosen as its front person in its proposal to destroy American capitalism, prosperity, and the American dream forever—and to give itself totalitarian control over virtually all aspects of American life.

Has Trump Been Outmaneuvered On Syria Troop Withdrawal?

By Senator Dick Black

Trump’s possible backtracking on withdrawal from Syria means he may have been once again outmaneuvered by the Deep State, says Virginia State Senator Dick Black.

Following the outcry after President Donald Trump’s announcement that he was pulling U.S. troops from Syria, it appears that Trump may be succumbing to political pressure. U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) visited the White House on Dec. 30 and afterward told reporters: “We talked about Syria. He told me some things I didn’t know that made me feel a lot better about where we’re headed in Syria,” Graham said. Trump’s withdrawal plans are “slowing down in a smart way,” Graham said, according to NBC News.

The Washington Post added: ” ‘Graham described Trump’s decision as ‘a pause situation’ rather than a withdrawal, telling reporters, “I think the president’s taking this really seriously.” Graham said: “He promised to destroy ISIS. He’s going to keep that promise. We’re not there yet. But as I said today, we’re inside the 10-yard line, and the president understands the need to finish the job.”

Trump Walks Back Syria Pullout As Noose Tightens

By Tom Luongo

If anyone still thinks that Donald Trump has some master plan to kill off his Deep State adversaries they should check themselves into therapy. I know withdrawal is hard, but admitting you have a problem is the first step to curing it.

He doesn’t have a plan. He may fight them but it won’t be with any kind of master plan to trap them in some beautiful bit of political judo.

Frankly, Vladimir Putin he is not.

No, Trump is winging things at this point. While he still has the office he’s trying to do some of the things he promised. Doing that may keep him in power for a few more months.

But with his walking back the timetable for pulling troops out of Syria after a visit from Lindsay Graham (R-MIC/AIPAC) should tell you all you need to know about Trump’s willingness to stand up to the pressure he’s under.

Add to that the opening salvo from Mitt Romney (R-Wall St.) and it becomes pretty clear that Trump was told what the score really is. When, not if, the Democrats push for impeachment or a 25th Amendment proceeding against him Graham and Romney will lead a GOP revolt against him, siding with Senate Democrats to get rid of him.

Chinese censors go low-tech to clamp down on Twitter: A knock on the door

Via LMTOnline.com

The 50-year-old software engineer was tapping away at his computer in November when state security officials filed into his office on mainland China.

They had an unusual – and nonnegotiable – request.

Delete these tweets, they said.

The agents handed over a printout of 60 posts the engineer had fired off to his 48,000 followers. The topics ranged from U.S.-China trade relations to the plight of underground Christians in his coastal province in southeast China.

When the engineer didn’t comply after 24 hours, he discovered that someone had hacked into his Twitter account – @hesuoge – and deleted its entire history of 11,000 tweets.

“If the authorities hack you, what can you do?” said the engineer, who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of landing in deeper trouble with authorities. “I felt completely drained.”

In Beijing and other cities across China, prominent Twitter users confirmed in interviews to The Washington Post that authorities are sharply escalating a Twitter crackdown. It suggests a wave of new and more aggressive tactics by state censors and cyber-watchers trying to control the Internet.

Twitter is banned in China – as are other non-Chinese sites such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram. But they are accessed by workarounds such as a virtual private network, or VPN, software that bypasses state-imposed firewalls.

While Chinese authorities block almost all foreign social media sites, they rarely have taken direct action against citizens who use them, preferring instead to quietly monitor what the Chinese are saying.

U of Illinois police: Report ‘bias’ incidents

Via Campus Reform

The University of Illinois Police encouraged students and community members to report “acts of intolerance” to the school’s Bias and Assessment Response team and let the police know if they “feel unsafe.”

“Acts of intolerance create an unsafe and unwelcoming environment for campus community members,” the University of Illinois police said on both its Facebook and Twitter accounts. “Remember that you can always report acts of intolerance to the Bias Assessment and Response Team at bart.illinois.edu.Please let us know if you feel unsafe. #ILLINOISsafety.”

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s bias response team defines bias-motivated instances as “actions or expressions that are motivated, at least in part, by prejudice against or hostility toward a person (or group) because of that person’s (or group’s) actual or perceived age, disability/ability status, ethnicity, gender, gender identity/expression, national origin, race, religion/spirituality, sexual orientation, socioeconomic class, etc.”

Era of the Trumper Tantrum

By William L. Gensert

Mothers and fathers drag their six and seven-year-old children 2,000 miles to the border of another country and scream, “Let me in!” And when those children die — one after the father refuses medical care — the media stand up, stamp their feet, and angrily scream the question, “How could you?” But their ire is directed at America, not at the criminally negligent parents, because it’s our country’s responsibility to honor and obey whatever a tantrum thrower insists is his right.

Who can blame them? It worked in Europe, where hundreds of thousands of fighting-age young men escaping the internecine brutality endemic to the Religion of Peace have forced themselves upon what used to be independent nations (and in particular, their infidel women) with seemingly nothing but joy expressed by the political elite who applaud the entire “shebang” (pun intended).

The forever angry and outraged Democrats, historically anti-illegal immigration when they thought aliens would provide cheap labor benefitting industry (can’t have profits unless they get to give the money to friends and family), are now pro-illegal alien who come here for benefits and are willing to vote illegally.

They are merely disappointed in voters who allowed the Orange Man to steal Hillary’s presidency, and damn it, they are going to import a new electorate.

Lines for salads out of control after ‘eat healthy’ resolutions

Via The New York Post

They’ve gone from fast food to extremely slow salads.

New Yorkers trying to make good on “eat healthy” resolutions are mobbing salad joints — leaving many on long lines cursing their radicchio-strewn diets.

“You guys can go f–k yourselves!” one very hangry businessman in a Patagonia puffer vest was overheard telling his colleagues at lunchtime on Thursday, as he ditched the 100-plus-long line at Chopt on West 51st Street, between Sixth and Seventh avenues.

“The last few days after New Year’s have been crazy because of the resolutions and people wanting to eat healthy,” said another business-suited, kale-clutching customer there.
