The Definitive List Of US/UK Media “Russiagate” Fake Stories

Via Zero Hedge

In our world of 24/7 news cycles but goldfish-like memories, deep divisions that fuel unprecedented cognitive dissonance, and a media in the pocket of the deep state; knowing what is fact and what is fake is increasingly hard for many and impossible for most.

The center has not held and the ‘left’ and the ‘right’ increasingly stick to their own echo chambers, further reinforcing that view that “the other side” are “wrong”, “idiots”, “dangerous” and must be stopped at almost any cost.

No topic of media attention – and thus America’s attention – is more divisive and propaganda-full than that of “Russiagate” – the ongoing belief that then candidate Trump sold his soul to the devil (Putin)… because how else could Hillary have lost?

However, the constant diatribe of leaked ‘breadcrumbs’ – day in and day out – have numbed most to what exactly is going on and for sure has destroyed any ability to discern right from wrong, news from lies, or fact from fiction… That is until Buzzfeed “bombshell” blew up in their hands this week when none less than Special Counsel Mueller confirmed their latest story is ‘fake news’.

So all those denials and head-shaking at President Trump’s insistence that the media is puking forth fake news is suddenly proved right as yet another conspiracy theory becomes conspiracy fact.

So, in an effort to remind readers of the reality we live in… to ‘red-pill’ those who have been ‘blue-pilled’ into blissful ignorance, Doug Johnson Hatlem (@djjohnso) has assembled a definitive list of over 50 major news stories that had to be retracted or seriously corrected – all in the same direction – with respect to Russia since 2016

Lunatic Leftists Doxed a Random Kid Thinking He Was in the Covington Video — Family Now Receiving Violent Threats

Via The Gateway Pundit

In their rush for blood, the left attacked this random teen.

On Sunday, the teen’s older bother, Andrew Hodge, took to Twitter to explain what his family has been going through since the mob began attacking them.

“Yesterday was supposed to be a day of celebration for my middle brother Alex, who got married last night. Instead my family had to deal with the fallout of my youngest brother #MichaelHodge being falsely accused for standing & smiling in front of an indigenous man with a drum,” the older brother wrote in the first of a series of tweets.

“People then proceeded to spam my family with harassments and threats of physical violence. We then find out our parents address was posted online. If that wasn’t enough, our family operated business has been slandered and attacked,” he continued.

Hodge complained, rightly, that “no one reviews evidence or does any due diligence, they immediately escalate things to a state of frenzy over much of nothing. The zealots scream for the head of #MichaelHodge knowing that their will be zero consequences to them if anything happens to him.”

Beyond BuzzFeed: The 10 Worst, Most Embarrassing U.S. Media Failures on the Trump/Russia Story

By Glenn Greenwald

But in homage to BuzzFeed’s past viral glory, following are the top ten worst media failures in two-plus-years of Trump/Russia reporting. They are listed in reverse order, as measured by the magnitude of the embarrassment, the hysteria they generated on social media and cable news, the level of journalistic recklessness that produced them, and the amount of damage and danger they caused. This list was extremely difficult to compile in part because news outlets (particularly CNN and MSNBC) often delete from the internet the video segments of their most embarrassing moments. Even more challenging was the fact that the number of worthy nominees is so large that highly meritorious entrees had to be excluded, but are acknowledged at the end with (dis)honorable mention status.

Note that all of these “errors” go only in one direction: namely, exaggerating the grave threat posed by Moscow and the Trump circle’s connection to it. It’s inevitable that media outlets will make mistakes on complex stories. If that’s being done in good faith, one would expect the errors would be roughly 50/50 in terms of the agenda served by the false stories. That is most definitely not the case here. Just as was true in 2002 and 2003, when the media clearly wanted to exaggerate the threat posed by Saddam Hussein and thus all of its “errors” went in that direction, virtually all of its major “errors” in this story are devoted to the same agenda and script.

Majority of world population support globalism, survey finds

Via The Straits Times

Maybe populist political movements don’t have as much support as often presumed.

The global public favours cooperation between nations, thinks immigration is a good thing and believes climate scientists, according to a poll of 10,000 people in every region of the world.

The poll was commissioned by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and will be discussed at panels at this year’s meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

People in South-east Asia and Africa were the strongest believers in countries working together, with 88 per cent saying it’s extremely or very important.

The least enthusiastic region was Western Europe, where 61 per cent held that view. In North America, the figure was 70 per cent. Worldwide, it was 76 per cent.

A global majority of 57 per cent said immigrants were “mostly good” for their new country, but only 40 per cent of Eastern Europeans thought so. Despite the continuing stand-off in the United States over building a wall along the Mexican border, 66 per cent of North Americans had a positive view of migrants.

Jew-Hatred In The Democratic Party

Via The American Thinker

It is really time for the liberal American Jewish Democrat to acknowledge that blatant anti-Semitism has infected the Democratic Party.

Nancy Pelosi has appointed Ilhan Omar to the House Foreign Relations Committee. Omar is viciously anti-Israel and is in favor of the anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement. Omar has long been a harsh critic of Israel. In fact, in 2012 – just “a few days after Gaza-based Hamas terrorists had launched more than 150 deadly rockets into the Jewish state, prompting an Israeli military response – she tweeted that ‘the apartheid Israeli regime’ had ‘hypnotized the world’ in order to conceal its own ‘evil doings.'”

In fact, the only apartheid in the Middle East comes from Arab countries and is clearly documented by Muslim reporter Khaled Abu Toameh, who regularly highlights the Arab apartheid against Palestinians.

Furthermore, “in 2016, Omar stated that she was in favor of completely divesting the University of Minnesota of its Israel bonds. The following year, she opposed a bill designed to counter economic boycotts targeting the Jewish state.” In addition, “in 2018, Omar ran for the U.S. House of Representatives seat formerly held by Keith Ellison. Her campaign was supported by … the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), which held three fundraising events on Omar’s behalf[.]”

Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy asserts that “the Democratic Party is increasingly anti-Israel and flirts, to be charitable, with anti-Semitism. Today we see the latest evidence of the character of what Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls the ‘New party.'”
