Fox News apologized for a mistake that left easily triggered absolutely livid after it erroneously aired a graphic announcing the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The ailing octogenarian Supreme Court Justice has become a symbol of The Resistance against President Trump as well as the center of a strange cult following that has led to replicas of her being created as action figures – one which adorned the Christmas tree of leftist filmmaker Michael Moore last month.
Ginsburg has been out of pocket ever since having tumors removed from her lungs in December and has been unable to hear oral arguments, an unprecedented occurrence for “Notorious RBG” who is “working from home” for an indefinite amount of time.
Some wags have speculated that she is already dead and being kept on ice for long enough to prevent President Trump from having a third nomination for nation’s highest court.
Fox goofed.

Via Mediaite, “Fox & Friends Apologizes for Accidental Graphic Saying Ruth Bader Ginsburg is Dead”:
Fox & Friends apologized on Monday after briefly airing a graphic suggesting that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is dead.
As the show came back from commercials, they briefly showed a graphic of Ginsburg with the caption 1933-2019. The image was on screen for only a brief period of time before it was dismissed for Ainsley Earhardt‘s upcoming interview on campus culture..
Later in the show, the hosts acknowledged the graphic by saying it was a control room error, and that their understanding is Ginsburg is still recovering from lung surgery, but alive nonetheless.
“We don’t want to make it seem anything other than that was a mistake. It was an accident,” Steve Doocy said.
“We apologize, big mistake,” Earhardt followed.
There will be conspiracy theories that it was intentional but hey, shit happens.
