ACLU Sues Arizona For Not Paying For Sex Change Operations

If people want to play dress up that fine, but what’s up with this sense of entitlement from the transgender community where they expect everyone else to pay for their sex change operations? The ACLU is suing Arizona on behalf of a transgender man (or woman) because the state’s health insurance doesn’t cover gender reassignment surgery. The health insurance also doesn’t cover “gouging out eyes” surgery so why should it pay for “chopping off wangs” procedures?

Here’s a thing that could only come from the ACLU:

The ACLU…filed a class action lawsuit Wednesday against the State of Arizona and the Arizona Board of Regents for denying medically necessary, gender-confirming healthcare to transgender people employed by the state.

Every major medical organization recognizes that gender-confirming surgery and other transition-related care is safe, effective and medically necessary for gender dysphoria. But the Arizona state employee health plan has a blanket exclusion for gender-confirming surgery and transgender people are not offered the opportunity to demonstrate that their transition-related surgery is medically necessary. The lawsuit alleges the exclusion unlawfully discriminates against transgender people in violation of federal civil rights statutes and the Constitution.

Yes, a group that calls themselves the American Civil Liberties Union is asserting that it’s a Constitutional right to have the government pay for sex change operations. I wonder what Amendment says “Transgenderism being necessary to a free state, Congress shall make no laws against wiener removal. The right to have the state pay for gender reassignment surgery shall not be infringed.”

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Dr. Russell B. Toomey, an associate professor of family studies and human development at the University of Arizona, and all other transgender individuals employed by the Arizona Board of Regents or enrolled in the State health plan, including dependents. Because of the state’s discriminatory health plan, he has been unable to have a gender-confirming procedure recommended by his physician in accordance with the widely accepted standards of care for treating gender dysphoria.

Is it funny that a professor of human development wants to get redeveloped? Yes it is. Normally he hands out assignments, but now he wants gender reassignment.

“I filed this lawsuit because I have been unable to access a medically necessary procedure as a result of the state’s discriminatory health plan,” said Dr. Toomey.

Well, presumably Dr. Toomey could pay for the surgery himself, right?

Now get ready for two absolutely hilarious quotes from ACLU lawyer Joshua Block:

“Many transgender people are prescribed transition-related surgery to treat their gender dysphoria and help them live authentically. In some cases, transition-related surgery can be life-saving,” said Block.

So chopping off a dong is lifesaving? I would think the opposite.

“Arizona’s current health plan unfairly covers many of the same procedures for cisgender employees, but unlawfully singles out transgender employees for unequal treatment,” Block said.

Wait, he’s claiming that Arizona will pay for sex change operations for cisgender or normal people, but not for transgender people? Can we get a fact-check here?

When a person thinks they are a different gender from what they were born with, why is the “cure” surgery to disfigure their genitals and not mental institutionalization? This is like prescribing a shot to the back of the head for someone who thinks they are Abraham Lincoln or a crucifixion for people who think they are Jesus Christ. Gender reassignment surgery is medical quackery for dealing with people who have serious mental health issues.

In no way should taxpayers have to pay for these ridiculous sex change operations. The reason why President Trump banned transgender people from the military is because they were joining just to get the “free” gender reassignment surgery. If crazy people want to lop off an appendage and undo God’s work, I suggest they start a savings account or see if the can put it on layaway, because there’s no way in hell we’re paying for it.
