Stephen Crockett, one of the racist authors at The Root, has a problem with Trump, Fox News, Russian bots, Facebook, the wall, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and a very limited vocabulary with which to express all of his displeasure. On the other hand, he defends Nancy Pelosi and purveyors of fake news by using . . . you guessed it. Fake news.
If you’re not familiar with The Root it’s an African-American, racist, liberal website that I visit daily to help me keep my white privilege in check. Here’s a gem I found there this morning.
What’s That Snowflake? Fox News Anchor Blasts Trump: ‘Bullying Journalists Is Not Presidential’
Ohhhhhhh, now you’ve got something to say?
Every [sic] since the President Trump stole the White House with the help of Russian bots and Facebook, he’s been attacking journalists. He’s stated several times that journalists are the enemy of the people and consistently calls news that is unflattering or critical of his draconian policies or his rambling racist ways “fake news.”
There are so many fallacies is this paragraph . . . where to begin? Trump “stole the White House” because of Russian bots, etc. Where is that proof? Since this is The Root though, proof is something that you can’t be bothered with. I for one, was never contacted by a Russian bot, and I don’t have a Facebook account so that didn’t influence me either. I voted for Trump based on my own research and my deep hatred for his fat, scandalous, opponent who is constantly hacking up her lungs, stumbling drunkenly down stairs, or collapsing into vans with the help of the Secret Service.
Draconian policies? Such as . . . yeah, I don’t know what he’s referring to either.
And the fake news thing? Trump calls out journalists who publish fake news. Period. Here’s 16 such examples for you. He didn’t call all journalists the enemy of the people. What he said was, “There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news. The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly.” That’s calling out irresponsible journalism, not an indictment of the entire news media. Journalists should be held to high standards, so what’s the problem? Oh, that’s right. You work for The Root. Ethics don’t matter there and you’re just defending your own practices. For example, everything in that one paragraph you wrote above is indeed all fake news. There is not one iota of proof to any of it.
But, when he’s not playing, “You hang up first” with Vladimir Putin, he’s tickling toes with Fox News. Make no mistake, Fox News is bae.
For those unfamiliar the vernacular of the ghetto, bae means “a person’s boyfriend or girlfriend (often as a form of address).” Now that I’ve clarified that, let’s move on.
Fox News has Trump’s iPhone code. Fox News has their conditioner in Trump’s shower. Fox News changed their status on Facebook to “in a relationship.”
That was until House Speaker Nancy Pelosi straight punked Trump during the government shutdown. Pelosi literally gave up nothing during the 35-day shutdown that proved to be a complete waste of time as Trump got no money for his dumbass wall that no one wants and literally had to admit in front of his base that he lost and that he’d won nothing and that he was opening up the government.
“Straight punked Trump . . . literally gave up nothing.” Yes, what a huge victory for her at the cost of only $11 billon to the economy and the expense of Federal employees being out of work or working for without pay. Yes, that was a brilliant move! You sure showed him! CNBC states that, “the CBO estimated $3 billion in economic activity is permanently lost.” $11 billion lost. Did your demented geriatric heroine Pelosi ever consider that Trump was only asking for $5.1 billion for the wall and what a shutdown would cost? I guess not. Way to cut off your nose to spite your face, Nancy! All this to protect illegal immigrants and endanger actual citizens in the United States. And to the author, there are quite a few of us who DO want that wall you claim no one wants.
Fox News then became critical of the president because he went out like a bad knee, and the president couldn’t take it.
And with that one statement the author shoots down the entire raison d’être for writing his article. Obviously Fox is not “bae” or they would not have criticized the President, right? You’ve disproved the entire false premise that you tried to create.
On Sunday, the president tweeted: “Never thought I’d say this but I think [Roberts] and [Turner] @FoxNews have even less understanding of the Wall negotiations than the folks at FAKE NEWS CNN & NBC!”
Julie Banderas, who frequently appears on Fox News’ Outnumbered, slammed Trump in a series of tweets Monday, for “bullying” and “insulting” her fellow journalists.
@realDonaldTrump This is NOT right. I stand by my colleagues @johnrobertsFox and @GillianHTurner They don’t deserve this. No reporter does. They are doing their jobs and reporting the facts. They are not opinion journalists and deserve the respect from the @WhiteHouse they cover. https://t.co/ftRPauopjC

We can and do stand plenty of criticism every day which is fine coming from everyday viewers. Our jobs are not meant to please others. But the office of the @POTUS ought not to be the one lashing out. That’s not how this country works. That’s not how Freedom of the Press works. https://t.co/buakHRRwPO

By going on Twitter and insulting two of our journalists @realDonaldTrump is putting a target on their backs. In turn his followers will then attack @johnrobertsFox and @GillianHTurner in support on Twitter. Bullying journalists is not Presidential. Period. https://t.co/xayShIojYj

I have always stood up for journalists no matter what network they work for. We all should support each other. https://t.co/ABE6UL7XRG

It’s funny that almost two years into this Ford Monarch-ass presidency, the Canal Street Chanel bag of journalism now has something to say about the president’s treatment of the press.
“Ford Monarch-ass.” What is it with this author’s obsession with ass? Here are some excerpts from some of his other articles, “tight-ass,” “lying-ass liar,” “dumb-ass,” “Brett Kavanaugh is high as a giraffe’s ass,” “Pence’s homophobic ass,” “Joe Biden Really Needs to Sit His Ass Down,” and now “Ford Monarch-ass.” I’m not sure what he’s trying for with this new phrase, but this colon-centric obsession of his seems to be indicative of serious mental issues.
From HuffPost:
In November, the White House was forced to restore press credentials for CNN’s Jim Acosta after it stripped him of his pass following a heated exchange with Trump during a press conference.
The president tweeted earlier this month that he had told White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders “not to bother” with press briefings, claiming without evidence that reporters often cover her “rudely” and “inaccurately.”
Sarah Huckabee Sanders, aka Suckabee . . .
Gee, that’s so childishly clever of you . . .
. . . did give her first press briefing in 41 days and while she didn’t say much, she did effectively blame the Democrats for the shutdown, so it’s good to see that things are back to normal.
Yes, it’s the democrat’s fault. A President tries to keep a campaign promise. The democrat’s wouldn’t allow it. A compromise was offered. They didn’t accept it. So yes, tell me again who’s fault this all is?
