For those who are paying close attention, the major entertainment and awards programs that used to draw millions of viewers have been experiencing record low ratings ever since the political left hijacked everything to promote their twisted “values” and to engage in vulgar rants against President Trump.
On Sunday night, hundreds of insufferable celebrities gathered for the 61st annual Grammy Awards with a live broadcast on CBS and to the delight of the crowd, none other than the incomparable Michelle Obama opened the show.

SURVEY: Does Trump have your vote in 2020?
She was joined by over the hill hottie Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett and Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta aka Lady Gaga in what some wiseacres could refer to as the four horsewomen of the liberal apocalypse.
Barry’s better half also used the occasion to deliver another one of her condescending lectures to those who are viewed by the wealthy cultural elite as dirty, unwashed and ignorant and who (according to Peter Strzok) shop at Walmart.

Mrs. Obama is adored by the Hollywood types and many of them actually believe that she would win the White House back if she were to jump into the 2020 race and you have to at least grudgingly admit, that were she to do so, she would be the least crazy of the contestants for the honor of being pasted by Trump next November.
While the liberal lemmings went Lady gaga over this latest noisy, self-congratulatory circle jerk of cultural elitist snobs, the bulk of real America tuned out as early ratings show that the garish festival of liberal hate and perversion was a disaster in terms of ratings.

According to Deadline Hollywood, “Grammy’s Fall To New Ratings Demo Low, While Viewership Steady With 2018”:
The live CBS show drew a 5.6 rating in the adult 18-49 demographic. That’s down just over 5% from last year’s previous demo low.
As for viewership, Sunday’s Grammys is pretty much even with last year’s show, pulling in 19.9 million total viewers, compared with 2018’s 19.8 million.
However, when it comes to the ratings, the song pretty much stayed the same. Last night’s primetime show snagged a 12.8/22 in metered market ratings.
Facing the competition of the midseason return of The Walking Dead on cable, the 2019 Grammys bucked the recent awards-show ratings trend to increase a tiny bit from last year’s James Corden-hosted bash. (By “a tiny bit,” I mean less than 1% in the metered markets over the 60th annual Grammy Awards, but up is up – at least for now, in the early metrics.)
The January 28, 2018 show, which saw a cameo by Hillary Clinton and more than its fair share of Donald Trump cage-rattling, went on to score a 5.9/21 rating among adults 18-49 and 19.81 million viewers, that metric the worst that the CBS-aired show had seen since 2009, when the telecast snared an audience of 19.04 million viewers. Though they didn’t go head to head with a returning TWD, the 2018 Grammys were also the lowest rated ever among the valued 18-49 demographic.
But that’s really polishing a turd because last year’s ratings were historically bad thanks to political sermons from rich hypocrites and the cameo appearance of another former first lady.

The spin will be positive to put a happy face on the fact that the ratings sucked just like last year but at some point, the networks are going to have to start to get the idea that it isn’t good business to alienate at least half of your prospective viewing audience with spiteful tirades against the duly elected president and the glorification of failures like Mrs. Obama and Mrs. Clinton who are promoted as the leaders of a government in exile.
There are lots of things that are preferable to watching the Grammy’s or any of these other liberal freak shows, colonoscopies and root canals among them.
But until the network bosses get tired of losing money, this disgusting carnival of perversion will continue.
