Surprised? HBO’s Bill Maher Defends Jew-Hating Democrat Ilhan Omar

The spirit of Adolf Hitler is alive and well within the Democratic party…

The political left can never be accused of practicing what they preach when it comes to bigotry and America has gotten a good look at the hypocrisy of Democrats over the last two weeks.

Not only is the party and its media mouthpieces backing down over denouncing the racism of Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and the alleged sexual abuse of Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax but they are now circling the wagons in defense of the vile anti-Semite freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar.

Omar’s history of Israel-bashing and hatred toward Jewish people has long been documented but despite this sordid history, the party promoted her as one of the new breed of Democrats who would showcase tolerance and diversity and not only did she sail to an easy win of a congressional seat but was also given a position on the powerful House Foreign Affairs Committee by Nancy Pelosi.

However, it didn’t take long for Omar to run into trouble with her overt anti-Semitism and it finally blew up after she tweeted out Jew-bashing tropes while condemning the powerful American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) last week.

Rep. Omar was nearly universally chastised and in order to duck the flak, agreed to issue one of the most dishonest and insincere apologies in modern political history. President Trump himself called B.S. on Omar and also called for her resignation or at the very least, her removal from the Foreign Affairs Committee.

But hypocrisy is the coin of the realm on the left and with anti-Semitism now firmly embedded in the Democrats’ DNA, the usual suspects are defending her and twisting the narrative so as to blame it all on Trump.

HBO’s insipid hatemonger Bill Maher used his weekly show to make excuses for Omar – this despite himself being of Jewish heritage although he claims to be an atheist.

Bill Maher has come to the defense of freshman Democrat Ilhan Omar over her controversial Israel comments that resulted in many accusing her of anti-Semitism.

The liberal comic brought up the topic during a panel discussion on Friday’s night episode of his HBO show, Real Time.

House Democratic leaders on Monday roundly condemned Rep. Omar, D-Minn., for statements about supporters of Israel that were widely viewed as anti-Semitic.

Omar, in response, “unequivocally” apologized, while reaffirming the “problematic role” of lobbyists.

Maher, who is no stranger to creating a firestorm with his own comments, questioned why the Minnesota Democrat’s comments have ‘to be seen as anti-Semitic’.

“She was talking about the Jewish lobby AIPAC and said, ‘It’s all about the Benjamins,’” Maher said.

“Now, I probably don’t agree with her a lot about what she feels about Israel and Palestine, but I don’t know why this has to be seen as anti-Semitic.”

There are few celebs who more exemplify the through loathsomeness of the left than Maher who is currently facing a lawsuit over his vulgar, homophobic slurs directed at the victims of the media hoax involving the Covington Catholic teens.

He also has a history of gay-bashing, misogynism and outright racism like his flippant invocation of the “N-word” during a chat with Republican Never Trump Senator Ben Sasse.

And it was only last week when Maher made a racist crack to a black Republican member of Congress and former CIA member about staking out Popeye’s Fried Chicken.

There is really no way to downplay the pervasive anti-Semitism that now exists within the Democratic party but it should come as no surprise given the radical shift of the last few years that has embraced the lunatic fringe elements who would normally have been silenced.

Today, they are promoted and one needs to look no further than Omar, Rashida Tlaib and socialist firebrand Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to see how far that the Democratic party has veered from acceptable political discourse.

At this rate, it will only be a matter of time until they go back to the future by embracing the Ku Klux Klan as well.

Crazy?

Not really because former grand dragon and Hitler admirer David Duke is a really big fan of Ilhan Omar’s and she’s only getting warmed up.
