It was a sad night on CNN and MSNBC after the news broke that their precious martyr Jussie Smollett was a racist liar who perpetrated a fake hate crime on himself to foment hostility against Trump supporters and white people in general.
Things quickly began to fall apart for the star of Fox’s hip hop television series “Empire” when inconsistencies in his account of the alleged “attack” began to mount followed by the big break when two Nigerian brothers admitted to police that the actor had paid them for their help in pulling off the scam.
On Wednesday night, the news broke that Smollett was being charged with filing a false police report – a class four felony – and could be facing more charges if the threatening letter that contained white powder and anti-gay slurs that was sent to him was also a fake.
While MSNBC’s androgynous duo Rachel Maddow and Chris Hayes didn’t even mention the collapse of Smollett’s story, over on CNN another gay black man – and a racist too – was bemoaning the fact that now that Smollett was fingered by the Nigerians and busted by the cops, that Fox News hosts and President Trump will say mean things about the dirty little perp.

On Wednesday, CNN’s Don Lemon reacted to the latest development in the Jussie Smollett saga by saying Tucker Carlson and President Donald Trump were going to “eat Jussie Smollett’s lunch.”
Smollett was charged on Wednesday for filing a false police report in relation to an alleged Jan. 29th assault that has made headlines.
Speaking on his show about the case, Lemon said that he didn’t think that Smollett’s decision to appear on Good Morning America to talk about the alleged attack was a good move.
He added that the Smollett case will now be used on cable news — and by the president of the United States — for political fodder and to push their agenda.
“[Fox News’] Sean Hannity is going to eat Jussie Smollett’s lunch every single second. [Fox News’] Tucker Carlson is going to eat Jussie Smollett’s lunch every single second,” Lemon said.
“The president of the United States is going to eat his lunch,” he further added, noting Trump watches cable news every night.
