How The Left Tricks People Into Thinking Socialism Is Plausible

If you want to effect radical change that politicians will vote for, don’t try to convince the politicians directly, but shift what is considered socially acceptable by legitimizing insane ideas.

What on earth has happened to the Democratic Party? Even by liberal standards, the policies the left now advocates appear insane. To say they are an order of fries short of a Happy Meal is an insult to McDonald’s.

I’m used to childishness from the Democratic Party, but something is very wrong in the Land of Unicorns and Fairy Dust. Is all of this just the usual hyper-liberal reaction to a Republican presidency, or is there something more insidious and dangerous at work? Tthe latter may be the case, in the form of something called the Overton Window Principle. Let’s recap the last several weeks in Lala-Land.

Consider the “Green New Deal” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez supports. Her resolution before Congress calls for America to entirely divest itself of fossil fuels within ten years. This is such a ludicrous proposal that anyone with a scintilla of common sense or over the age of 25 should burst out laughing when informed of it.

A Frequently Asked Questions page that appeared on Ocasio-Cortez’s website before it was taken down actually said: “We set a goal to get to that net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast…” That is a real quote from an actual document posted to a bona fide congresswoman’s real-life website.

‘Thin blue line’ flag removed from state capitol after Democrats complain it could offend black people

A flag honoring law enforcement was removed for the Connecticut State Capitol building Tuesday because Democrats said it could offend African Americans.

“In the context of history behind it [the flag] a lot of my members expressed a lot of concerns especially in this building,” Connecticut State Rep. Brandon McGee, a Democrat and chairman of the Black and Puerto Rican Caucus, said, according to a local NBC affiliate.

“We are not anti- you know — police, we support our men in blue,” he said, “but we also know that given the history around black people, people of color with respect to this particular issue. I just think it was necessary to share our concerns with our leadership.”

A wooden plaque with a “thin blue flag” — a black-and-white American flag with one of the horizontal lines changes to blue, altered to pay homage to U.S. law enforcement — was donated by a member of the State Capitol Police.

Feminists Screaming about ‘Transgenderism,’ Their Own Demon Child

Say, “Be careful what you wish for” or call it the law of unintended consequences. For decades, feminists screamed, “I am woman, hear me roar” — now it’s “Hear me squeal — a man just walked through our door!”

The issue? Men claiming womanhood (MCW, AKA “transgenders”) are invading women’s spaces — such as bathrooms, locker rooms, and prisons — and are entering female competitions, taking away gold and glory. Examples are MCW who in recent years won “women’s” titles in weightlifting, cycling, sprinting, golf long driving, and even a beauty pageant.

This is no pretty picture to feminists. Wizened old Germaine Greer took heat in 2016 for saying men getting a medical procedure “doesn’t make them a woman.” Ex-tennis star Martina Navratilova is currently being ostracized for writing that having MCW in women’s sports is “insane” and is “cheating.” Feminist writer Meghan Murphy just sued Twitter for banning her for tweeting “men aren’t women” (my, my — employing white male linear logic!). And feminist Julia Beck (video below) was kicked off a Baltimore LGBT committee for using masculine pronouns when referencing, the nerve of her, a man.

Now, I’ve produced more material inveighing against “transgenderism” than you care to know (and that I care to have written). Yet there’s something here preventing me from endorsing these feminists’ fight unreservedly; it’s a striking blindness to a striking truth afflicting both liberals and most conservatives.

To wit: Feminists are now merely being hoisted with their own petards. They themselves laid the foundation for the transgender agenda they bemoan.

Russiagate In Flames: No Evidence Of Collusion, New Findings Challenge DNC Hack Narrative

n the last few weeks, we have witnessed two pillars of the Russiagate narrative continue to disintegrate and erode. First, we heard that a bipartisan inquiry by the Senate Intelligence Committee admitted that they have yet to find evidence indicating that the Trump campaign coordinated with Russia in the run-up to the 2016 US Presidential election. Secondly, new light was shed on the process by which the DNC Emails published by WikiLeaks may have been sourced, thanks to two reports: one authored by former NSA Technical Director Bill Binney and former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, with the other work penned by Disobedient Media’s Adam Carter.

Of course, this does not entail that the establishment-backed media will stop promoting the neo-McCarthyist insanity that has held legacy press audiences captive for the last two and a half years.

No Evidence For Trump-Russia Collusion
A recent report from NBC related an admission from both Democratic and Republican members of the Senate Intelligence Committee, indicating that they have discovered no evidence of Trump-Russia collusion to date. NBC’s report reads in part:

“The Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the 2016 election has uncovered no direct evidence of the Trump campaign conspiring with Russia, Democrats and Republicans on the committee told NBC News. But different parties’ investigators in the probe, which is winding down, disagree over the implications of a pattern of contacts between Trump associates and Russians.”

Let’s review that again: the only thing the Democrats and Republicans disagree on is the significance of an alleged “Pattern of contacts between Trump associates and Russians.”

Note: the “pattern” here does not specify that the “Russians” in question were associated in any sense with the Russian government. One should not have to stress the significance of differentiating between a nationality versus affiliation with the Kremlin. Meanwhile, the characterization of “Trump associates” is entirely vague.

The Attack on John Wayne Is an Attack on White America

If ever an actor epitomized the concept of Manifest Destiny, it was Wayne. He fought for 14 years to have the film The Alamo made—a movie he directed, produced, and starred in as Davy Crockett. Donald Clark writes in John Wayne’s The Alamo: The Making of the Epic Film that the movie was Wayne’s idea of “how being an American should be illustrated.” To Wayne, the Alamo was the archetypal American story, and the actor said the film should “remind the freedom-loving people of the world that, not too long ago, there were men and women who had the guts to stand up for the things they believed in, to the point of death.”

Yet Wayne’s conception of American identity is being buried by demographic change. In 1970, Orange County was 86 percent white. By 2004, the massive growth in non-white population (mostly Asians and Hispanics) pushed whites to just 49 percent of population. This demographic transformation ensured Democrats won all seven congressional house seats in 2018 election, a stinging reminder that demography is destiny even in the land of John Wayne.

Not surprisingly, the new population inhabiting the area has no love for a figure associated with the conquest of the West and traditional American identity. In 2016, a push by white Republicans to have a day celebrating the birthday of John Wayne was overwhelmingly voted down because of Wayne’s “racism.” A resolution in the State Assembly failed by 36-19 votes, with opponents Assemblyman Luis Alejo and Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez citing a 1971 Playboy interview in which Wayne gave his views on race.

CA Democrat Who Honored Stormy Daniels Has Mayoral Term Shortened By Colleagues

On Tuesday night, the West Hollywood City Council voted unanimously to shorten Mayor John Duran’s term by four months amid allegations that he sexually harassed multiple men.

He will retain his current title until May 20, when a new mayor will be installed, and Duran will revert to his previous role of councilmember. In West Hollywood, the mayoral position is mostly a ceremonial duty that rotates between the elected members on the City Council.

Duran, 59, did not attend the council meeting because he was in the hospital being treated for blood clots in his legs. However, he issued a statement hours before the vote where quoted Abraham Lincoln, writing, “a house divided against itself – can not stand.” The progressive Democrat, who has been a vocal proponent of “resisting” President Donald J. Trump, maintained his innocence, writing: “Unfortunately, people are now piling on a false narrative that is untrue, misunderstood, and driven by the current mood of the country rather than the rule of law and due process.”

UF Valentine’s Day ‘Consent Fair’: ‘We all’ ‘contribute to rape culture’

The University of Florida held its annual Cupid’s Consent Fair on Valentine’s Day to explain consent to students by distributing literature.

GatorWell, the leading health promotion and education campus group, hosted the event through its subsidiary peer education group, Sexual Trauma Interpersonal Violence Education (STRIVE). UF had advertised the event here, but deleted it during the reporting for this article.

STRIVE supervisor Megan Johnson told Campus Reform that the group hosted the event to “eradicate violence on campus” and that while she doesn’t “know the statistics off the top of my head,” she knows sexual assault is prevalent on college campuses. Johnson stressed that students should frequently check in with their partners during sex to make sure consent is still present.

Johnson also told Campus Reform that everyone contributes to rape culture.

“We all as people contribute to rape culture, whether we realize it or not,” the STRIVE supervisor said. “So that means what we hear in music…it’s in the media. It’s everywhere and so what happens is we all see it and we take it in and that catchy tune is in your head and you’re singing it and you’re going along with it, but the problem is it’s normalizing these behaviors.”

Was Whitey Bulger’s Prison Murder a Deep State Hit to Protect Mueller?

Notorious Boston mob boss James “Whitey” Bulger (shown) has been murdered in prison. News accounts on October 30 reported that Bulger, the 89-year-old former kingpin of Boston’s ultra-violent “Irish Mafia” was found “unresponsive” in his cell, after having been savagely beaten. The prison staff, reportedly, administered life-saving measures to no avail, and Bulger was subsequently pronounced dead by the Preston County Medical Examiner.

The prevailing media explanation of Bulger’s demise is that he was murdered by Mafia enforcer Freddy Geas and two additional inmates at the Hazelton high-security federal prison in West Virginia. The motive for the hit on Bulger, goes the media narrative, is that Freddy Geas “hates rats,” meaning he hates “snitches” or informants. And Bulger, as we reported more than 20 years ago, had been exposed as a long-time FBI informant. However, he was not an informant in the usual sense of the word. He was more an “FBI asset” in a corrupt relationship that allowed him to carry on his murderous enterprise with virtual impunity in exchange for information that would allow his FBI handlers to enrich themselves and put feathers in their caps by snaring Bulger’s crime lord competitors.

In our report on Bulger earlier this year (Probing Mueller: What Were His Roles in Boston Mafia Murders, Uranium One, and Other FBI Scandals?) we noted that Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, who has been leading the “Trump-Russia collusion” witch hunt for the past two years, was a central player in the deadly Bulger-FBI scandal that has been begging for a thorough investigation for decades. A credible investigation of that scandal alone would likely be sufficient to topple Mueller and send him to prison. But, as we reported, there’s more: First, as a DOJ attorney, and then as director of the FBI, Mueller has been at the eye of several storms, including treasonous disasters to our national security. In addition to being mobbed up with Bulger, Mueller assisted Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama in the Uranium One transfer of U.S. uranium assets to Putin & Company. And then there’s the transfer of top U.S. technology to build Skolkovo, Russia’s new Silicon Valley.

But there’s much more, including Mueller’s role at the FBI in covering up the illegal Clinton Foundation deals with Putin and his oligarchs. The reliable, tangible evidence points to the Clintons, Obama, Mueller, and their fellow Deep State globalists who should be investigated (and prosecuted) for colluding and conspiring with Vladimir Putin, not President Trump and his entourage.
