Jussie Smollett’s Drug Of Choice..Hate
By Ben Garrison
ussie Smollett’s tangled web of lies is falling apart. At the end of January, Smollett claimed he was involved in a racist, homophobic attack by two red capped men yelling “This is MAGA country!” He claimed they punched him and wrapped a “noose” around his neck and poured bleach or gasoline on him.
The media went bonkers and ran with his story, using it to tar and feather all “racist” MAGA hat wearing Trump supports and the President himself.
No journalist did any digging or investigation to verify the story. The FAKE News media gave this story wall to wall coverage of how this racist, horrible attack could only be the result of Trump’s America. Journalism is dead.
amala Harris and Cory Booker, both running for the Democrat nominee in 2020, compared notes and gave twin statements calling the hoax a “modern day lynching” . They were quick to introduce a “anti-lynching” bill in the Senate, which was passed.
The Chicago Police believed him at first, but took the time to investigate Smollett’s claims. The alleged hate crime attack unraveled after police determined Smollett took advantage of the “pain and anger of racism to promote his own career” by allegedly paying two brothers to stage the attack.
JSmollett is now facing felony charges for staging a fake “hate crime” attack.
Police said Smollett also sent a death threat letter to himself which was mailed to the Empire’s studio in Chicago.
Now Jussie’s excuse is “the drugs” made him do it! Did you hear that? That’s the Excuse Train pulling into the station. The only high Jussie is on, is the Trump Derangement hit from his drug of choice..Hate.

From Harvey Milk and Matthew Shepard to Jussie Smollett — How True Crimes with Fake Motives Inspired Fake Hate Crimes
By Daniel Flynn
Like Charlie Brown, we keep trying to kick that football. Part of falling for fake hate crimes, albeit temporarily, stems from falling for other fake hate crimes permanently. Several stories of martyrdom at the hands of bigots woven into our national fabric appear upon further inspection to be, well, fabricated. Unlike the Smollett case, these events involved real, horrific violence. But in the aftermath, ideologues used the tragedies for political purposes. This success in alchemizing propaganda into history inspired Jussie Smollett to increase his stature from wealthy primetime actor to victim.
Consider Harvey Milk, really murdered by a really disturbed former San Francisco supervisor in November of 1978. The notion that Dan White shot his former colleague because of his homosexuality led to Milk’s face on a postage stamp, his name on a Navy vessel, and his birthday celebrated as a state holiday in California public schools.
But his murderer, a protégé of Dianne Feinstein, attended the largest gay rights fundraiser in the history of the United States until that point. The San Francisco Democrat donated $100 to defeat the anti-gay Briggs Initiative and occasionally voted with Milk on gay rights matters before the board of supervisors. In an interview for my book Cult City: Jim Jones, Harvey Milk, and 10 Days That Shook San Francisco, Ray Sloan, who was White’s campaign manager, chief of staff, and business partner, rejected the idea that anti-gay animus motivated his boss. “That was never an issue,” Sloan told me of his own homosexuality. “In coordinating [White’s] campaign, I don’t think anyone knew or cared if I was gay. I neither hid it, but I wasn’t out participating in any way that would say that. I sort of lived my own life. As time went on, it was clear that [White] knew. It just didn’t make any difference to him.
Daniel J. Flynn's, 'Cult City: Jim Jones, Harvey Milk, and 10 Days that Shook San Francisco,' is a compelling history that looks at two pivotal events of the 1970s that further woke America up to the realities of hippie idealism.https://t.co/e0BMvFl3w7

Ten Commandments to help fix social media in the wake of the disastrous media coverage of the Jussie Smollett fake accusations & the made up attack against the Covington Catholic high school kids: https://t.co/549N94Jas0

Ten Media Commandments For Social Media In the Wake of Jussie Smollett and Covington Catholic
Via Outkick The Coverage
Over the past couple of weeks we witnessed the collapse of Empire star Jussie Smollett’s story that he’d been attacked by two white racist Donald Trump supporters on a Chicago street. Smollett’s allegations swept through Twitter like a wild fire leading media and politicians to lend their own statements of condemnation, with several prominent Democratic presidential candidates terming the alleged attack on Smollett a modern day lynching.
Now that Smollett has been charged with a felony for paying two black Nigerian men — via check! — to “attack” him in an effort to garner higher pay on his show, the narrative arc of this story has changed tremendously. Yet the timeline represents a troubling failure, which seems to be occurring more and more often.
How can we help to make stories like these less common?
Over the past week I’ve spent quite a bit of time thinking about this story in conjunction with another recent viral sensation that turned out to be false — the Covington Catholic High School kids who were labeled racists on social media for having the temerity to wear Make America Great Again hats on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial on a school field trip.
The connecting fabric here, I believe, is a desire by many on social media — and in the media which increasingly follows social media’s lead — to turn being a Trump supporter, particularly a white male Trump supporter, into a default proxy for racism. That default proxy for racism — some might say even a desire for racism — leads many to surge right past the skepticism that should greet any allegation of wrongdoing, no matter who the alleged perpetrator is.

Chicago's Cook County Votes To Dismantle 'Racist' Gang Database https://t.co/bzHByEulaz

Chicago’s Cook County Votes To Dismantle ‘Racist’ Gang Database
Via Zero Hedge
Officials in the Democratic stronghold of Chicago’s Cook County, Illinois voted on Thursday to completely dismantle their database of more than 25,000 known or suspected gang members, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
The reason? The database is racist and inaccurate, according to opponents, as most of the people linked to gangs are black and Hispanic (meanwhile most victims and killers in Chicago are black males aged between 15 and 35, often with gang affiliations).
“The terms ‘gang association’ or ‘gang membership’ have become a form of criminalizing mostly young people of color,” said county Commissioner Alma Anaya – chief sponsor of the measure. “The passage of the ordinance will be a major step forward for Cook County. We will serve as a national model.”
While the Cook County Regional Gang Intelligence Database (RGID) is considered more accurate than the Chicago PD’s gang database since it collects information from inmates at Cook County Jail “who openly self-identify if they are gang affiliated during the intake process to prevent ending locked up with gang rivals,” RGID has come under fire after more than 400 dead people were discovered in the database, as first reported by ProPublica.
An earlier draft of the ordinance would have required the sheriff’s office to send written notifications to those individuals. But that language was removed amid concerns from the sheriff and some commissioners that it could expose the county to lawsuits.
The earlier draft also would have placed restrictions on gang affiliation data compiled by officials at the county jail. The sheriff’s office would have been responsible for an annual report detailing the race, age and gender of everyone it records as a gang member as well as the reasons why. -ProPublica
Instead of perhaps working to correct errors or create a mechanism for Cook county residents to have themselves removed from the database, Thursday’s vote will prohibit the Cook County Sheriff’s Office from “maintaining, re-creating or sharing information” on known or suspected gang members, while the list won’t be allowed to be shared with outside agencies. Furthermore, the sheriff’s office must “enact the final destruction” of the tool, according to the Sun-Times.

Ocasio-Cortez and Newsom: Stupid-East Meets Stupid-West https://t.co/Ib9JwTa60N

Ocasio-Cortez and Newsom: Stupid-East Meets Stupid-West
Via The American Thinker
While there is an immense distance in miles separating Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez on the East Coast and Gavin Newsom on the West Coast, it appears dwarfed by the vast empty spaces between the ears on their inflated heads. While lecturing us little people on two entirely different subjects, stupid-East somehow managed to intersect with stupid-West on one very important point. That point (slightly dumbed-down): if it ain’t there, it ain’t gonna happen.
Over on the East Coast, Ocasio-Cortez helped kill the Amazon deal and before her followers could chant the words “cow farts are killing us,” she had mentally repurposed every dime of the $3 billion in direct subsidies she was sure Amazon was set to unjustly receive. But if it ain’t there, it ain’t gonna happen.
Rightly, many on the reality side of the political spectrum wonder how dumb Ocasio-Cortez must be to think there was a pot of taxpayer money being handed over to Amazon. Now that the deal is dead, instead of Amazon being able to keep $3 billion of what it earns as a temporary incentive to bring thousands of jobs and many billions of dollars in future tax revenue to the area, there will be zip, zero, nada for progressives to “invest” (given that’s all they really care about).
I wonder if Ocasio-Cortez will take a vow of poverty, put her current lack of money where her mouth is, and fight the urge to magically turn her $170K-per-year salary into multi-millions (while producing nothing) before she finally exits Congress.
Here on the West Coast, after Trump declared a state of emergency, Governor Newsom rushed into the spotlight with his A.G. and promised to sue the Trump administration for diverting funds and “hurting California.” No word from Newsom on the harm the $77-billion train boondoggle or $23 billion spent yearly on illegal immigration (enough to pay every public school teacher more than $75K per year) has done to California.

Ivy League students push to ‘liberate’ bathrooms. Conservative students push back

Sex-designation signs at restrooms across Princeton University were covered Monday with posters “liberating” them “from the gender binary.”
“This bathroom has been liberated from the gender binary,” the posters declared, according to The Daily Princetonian. Princeton spokesman Ben Chang told the Princetonian that the school does “not know the origin of the posters.”
Darleny Cepin, director of student life at Mathey College, one of Princeton’s residential colleges, told the Princetonian that “Princeton defines Gender Inclusive Bathrooms (also called Gender Neutral), as single occupancy, lockable bathrooms,” and that all other restrooms “have an assigned gender.” However, Cepin continued to say that students “are encouraged to use the bathroom that aligns with their gender identity and where they feel most comfortable.” Students are thus not required to use restrooms corresponding with their biological sex.
The posters were “not a call for a policy change from the [university] administration, but rather a statement of fact,” Princeton graduate student Ariana Natalie Myers and undergraduate digital editor Katherine Stiefel wrote in an op-ed for The Princeton Progressive. “Princeton’s policy has been for years that campus community members may use whichever bathrooms they are most comfortable with, regardless of the individual’s gender designation by the state.”
Myers and Stiefel note that many students, including transgender students, are unaware of the policy due to the “persistence of signage” that “has led most to assume that gender segregation of bathrooms has continued.” The piece complained of “the often-hostile environment of a gendered bathroom” and the lack of tampons in men’s restrooms and claimed that restroom gender-distinction can “cause serious medical complications” for transgender students.
