Poll: Majority of Americans Prefer Building Border Wall Over Green New Deal

A poll has found that a majority of American voters oppose the Green New Deal.

And if Americans had the choice, they would choose to build a border along the U.S.-Mexico border over the Green New Deal, said the Remington Research Group.

When asked about the Green New Deal, which has been pushed heavily by socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in recent weeks, about 51 percent of Americans said they oppose it, 29 percent said they support it, and 19 percent were not sure, the pollster found.

“Over half (51%) of Americans say they would prefer the U.S. government fund a border wall, rather than The Green New Deal (31%),” said the polling firm.

Meanwhile, according to the pollster, independents prefer building the wall over the Green New Deal by a two-to-one margin.

Republicans “would prefer a border wall by a 68-point margin,” said Remington Research.

“If you had to choose, would you rather the United States government spend $5 billion to fund a border wall, or $7 trillion to fund the Green New Deal?” was the question the pollster asked likely voters to get its final response about favoring the wall or the Green New Deal.

Titus Bond, the president of the Remington Research Group, said the Green New Deal has created an “interesting situation” for the Democrats

“Democratic voters support this legislation, while the rest of the country overwhelmingly opposes it. It will be intriguing to watch Democratic leaders and presidential hopefuls navigate this issue with their base while still appealing to mainstream voters,” Bond stated.

Twitter Tells Michelle Malkin to Lawyer Up for Breaking SHARIA LAW

Author and political commentator Michelle Malkin received a bizarre message from Twitter telling her to seek legal counsel for allegedly violating Pakistani law.

“I’ve been #SiliconValleySharia -ed. Here’s the notice Twitter’s legal dept sent me last week, warning me to get legal counsel because anti-blasphemy Muslim zealots complained that my Mohammed Cartoons tweet violates Pakistan’s laws,” Malkin said.

Malkin posted a photo of the email from the micro-blogging giant, which told her that a 2015 Tweet “is in violation of Pakistan law. The Tweet in question features cartoon drawings of the false Islamic prophet prophet Mohammed:

“My innocuous tweet featured a compilation image of the 12 Muhammad cartoons published by Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten in 2005,” Malkin said in a post on her website. “It also linked to my Jan. 8, 2015, syndicated column on the Charlie Hebdo jihad massacre in Paris. There’s no hate, violence, profanity or pornography, just harmless drawings and peacefully expressed opinions about the Western media’s futile attempts to appease the unappeasable enforcers of sharia law, which bans all insults of Islam.”

Images of the prophet Mohammed are strictly prohibited by Islamic law, which is effectively the law of the land in Pakistan.

Malkin is not the first Twitter user to be threatened by the company for criticizing Islam.

“Over the past few months, several other prominent critics of Islamic extremism have received similar warning letters from Twitter’s legal department, including Saudi-Canadian activist Ensaf Haidar, the wife of imprisoned Saudi blogger Raif Badawi; Imam Mohammad Tawhidi, an Iranian-born Muslim scholar and reform advocate from Australia; Jamie Glazov, a Russian-born Canadian columnist who just released a new book called “Jihadist Psychopath”; and Pamela Geller, an anti-jihad blogger and activist,” Malkin said.

Unlike Trump, Trudeau Is In Real Trouble

While Americans were transfixed on Wednesday with the salacious, but not legally damning, testimony of Michael Cohen before Congress, a bombshell went off in the Canadian Parliament. Former Canadian Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould testified before the House Justice Committee alleging that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and others in his administration pressured her in “inappropriate” ways to reach a settlement with an engineering company that has been charged with crimes.

The company, SNC-Lavalin, is facing charges that it sent bribes to Libya, then under the rule of Gadhafi, in defiance of Canadian law. If found guilty, the Quebec-based company will face severe sanctions, including a ban on working with the Canadian government. This would be a severe economic blow, especially in Trudeau’s home province of Quebec.

According to Wilson-Raybould’s testimony, she faced “consistent and sustained,” efforts by the Trudeau administration, as well as “veiled threats,” in an attempt to influence her decision regarding Lavalin. Under Canadian law, this type of attempt at political influence is at best inappropriate, and at worst illegal.

NYC Mayor De Blasio’s wife spent $900 million in taxpayer money—with no record of how it was used

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s wife, Chirlane McCray, was given $900 million to start a mental health initiative focusing on helping the homeless in the city. Four years later, no one seems to know what that money was actually used for, according to the New York Post.

The City Council discovered this shocking amount of potential waste during a meeting Wednesday. And while it sounds good to spend heavily on a mental health initiative, it appears that nobody has noticed any real benefits from that investment.

“I like the fact that money is going toward mental health, but when they say we’re seeing a benefit in all areas, I take exception to that, because I don’t see it everywhere,” Queens Councilman Robert Holden told The Post. “I’m not sure anybody does.”

America has moved on. Democrats, Hollywood, and fake news media say America no longer wants white guys like Roy Rogers on TV, infecting our kids with Christian morals and family values.

America has moved on from the biblical teaching that there are only two genders. NYC recognizes 31 different genders. Facebook gives customers 56 gender options. Leftists believe they are far more sophisticated and intelligent than Bible believers and Americans living in flyover country.

Leftists say determining a baby’s gender by its genitalia at birth is idiotic. They say we must allow the child to evolve into the gender it wants to be. This insane child abuse has led to hundreds of kids as young as four years old identifying as transgender and changing their sex.

America has moved on from children respecting their father and their elders. There I go sounding like an old guy. My sister, three brothers and I were raised respecting our dad, answering him with yes or no sir. Dad was fun and easy to talk to. But we understood that he was not our peer. Hollywood routinely portrays fathers as idiots whose kids give them zero respect.

America has moved on from TV heroes like Superman who stood for “truth, justice and the America way.” Leftist indoctrination in public school has our kids believing “the American way” and patriotism are racist. Singing the song “Proud to be an American” has been banned in public schools. Wearing an America flag t-shirt to school on a Mexican holiday has been banned in America. Unfortunately, many of our youths believe it is racist to expect immigrants to learn English, respect our flag, and enter our country legally.

The Hollywood Reporter Suggests Hollywood Stress Is To Blame For Smollett’s Alleged Hoax

“The ‘Empire’ actor claimed to be the victim of a heinous crime that played perfectly into Hollywood’s worst fears about hate in America,” the lede of the article reads. “Did the pressures of childhood fame or a struggling music career play a role in causing him to concoct what police are now deeming an elaborate hoax?”
