Body Cam Theater! Tonight’s Episode, “Don’t Date a Woman Who Gets You Into Fights You Can’t Win”

Via WMC 5 Action News

I have to stop here. I’m sorry, but “action news” always makes me chuckle. It makes me think of Ron Burgundy and the scene from “Anchorman” when Brick kills a guy with a trident. Johnny Cardell knows what I’m talking about. We find it hilarious.

But if you haven’t seen the movie, here’s what me and Johnny Ringbro find so hysterical:

It’s funny because it’s so preposterous. “Action news.” My ass. All you people do is sit around all day and wait for people to die in horrific ways, attack Donald Trump, and find racism everywhere so you can get ratings and continue to be paid high wages for jobs any chimp could probably do. Yeah, I wait around for people to die too, but the difference is I wait for THUGS to die. And I don’t get paid for it. It’s my hobby and pleasurable pastime to display law-breakers getting their just rewards. There’s no “action” involved in in your “action news.” Anyway, back to tonight’s episode.

West Memphis police release dash cam video of deadly January officer-involved shooting

WEST MEMPHIS, AR (WMC) – Six West Memphis police officers who shot and killed two people earlier this year are not being charged.

In a Friday morning news conference, West Memphis Police Department leadership answered questions about the encounter and released dramatic dash cam video of the incident.

Officers shot and killed 22-year-old Megan Rivera and 30-year-old De’Angelo Brown, both of Lancaster, South Carolina, during an attempted traffic stop Jan. 16.

Aren’t they fucking adorable? What kind of cold-hearted monsters could possibly kill this obviously loving and law-abiding couple? One that posts soft-porn selfies online?

Assistant Chief Robert Langston said officers attempted to pull the car over because it had no license plate and had high beams. When the car didn’t stop a chase ensued.

A tip to all you would-be thugs out there. Attempting to flee police is never a good decision and will often lead to tragic results for you. Can your car outrun a helicopter or a radio? Nah. The police will win in this situation 99.9% of the time. But by all means, go ahead and keep taking your chances. I need fodder for this column. And we enjoy watching you die. So let’s roll the film. The real action starts at about the 7:44 mark.

Langston said the car, with Rivera behind the wheel, rammed police cruisers multiple times and ultimately ran over an officer’s legs. That’s when six WMPD officers opened fire, killing Brown and Rivera.

Police released dash camera video Friday, which shows the chase and the violent ending as the officer is hit and his fellow officers open fire.

The four videos show varying angles of the encounter. In one video, Brown can be seen raising his hands in the passenger seat before Rivera reverses the car and hits the officer.

Yes, he did. He put his hands up. But the same crazy broad that was insane enough to date a crackhead made yet another bad decision. She decided to keep trying to get away and then ran over one of the officers. I’m surprised she even lived to be 22. You put your fingers too close to the flame and you get burned, De’Angelo.

I’m sure De’Angelo dinduffin, but then there’s this tidbit:

Police later found the suspects’ car was carjacked from a 72-year-old woman in South Carolina. Officers discovered a .22 rifle and crack cocaine inside the vehicle.

They were a regular Bonny and Clyde team! How very romantic! Fucking douche bags. Carjacking a 72 year old woman? I bet Megan was all, “My hero! You’re so manly!” Or maybe he was so manly he made her carjack the senior citizen. We’ll never know and frankly, now we don’t have to care.

And then there’s this nugget:

Brown and Rivera were also wanted on shoplifting charges.

The officer who Rivera hit suffered major injuries to both legs. He is not being identified.

All of us here at Def-Con send him thoughts and prayers for his quick and complete recovery.

Five other officers were relieved of duty with pay while Arkansas State Police investigated the shooting.

ASP reviewed the dash camera footage as part of their investigation, and grand jury decided the officers should not face charges.

An internal investigation is still in place, but Langston said it should wrap up within a few days.

A few days? These two were thugs who almost killed a police officer. Should the other cops held their fire and let them get away after they almost killed their brother? Nope. Instead Bonnie and Clyde’s bits of skull and what little brains they had splattered on the dashboard as they should have. This case is closed.
