The Mueller Report Is In And Trump Wasn’t Indicted For Collusion

Talk about a Friday news-dump. Special Counsel Robert Mueller has delivered his report on the conclusion of his investigation into President Trump colluding with the Russians to steal the 2016 election to the Justice Department. Since you haven’t heard about Trump being indicted for whatever it is liberals think he did, it’s safe to assume Mueller didn’t turn up any evidence of collusion. In fact, we don’t have to assume because the Justice Department has already said the report doesn’t recommend any further indictments. Maxine Waters and Carl Reiner must be crushed.

The basic gist of this whole thing is that Hillary Clinton and the DNC colluded with a foreign agent to influence the 2016 election. Thanks to their buddy Obama and his corrupt Justice Departmnet they were able to flip the script and plant seeds that it was actually Donald Trump and his team who were colluding. Liberal outrage snowballed until the Justice Department appointed Robert Mueller to investigate these bogus claims. Mueller indicted and even convicted several Trump associates on a variety of things completely unrelated to Russian collusion, but he never came up with anything against Trump.

After 2 years of this investigation that President Trump has rightfully called a “witch hunt” the report is finally in.

Fox News reports:

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted to Attorney General Bill Barr his long-awaited report on the investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential race and possible collusion with Trump associates — marking the end of the politically explosive probe and the beginning of a new battle over its contents and implications.

The report was delivered Friday afternoon to the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein’s office and it was delivered to Barr’s office within minutes, a senior DOJ official told Fox News. The White House was notified that the DOJ had received the report around 4:45 p.m., before lawmakers on Capitol Hill were informed. Neither the White House or Congress have seen the actual report.

Neither the President nor Congress has seen the report, but pay close attention to this:

Mueller is “not recommending any further indictments,” a senior DOJ official told Fox News.

That’s a sad trombone for all of the liberals who were certain that Mueller was going to take down Trump. Hey, at least the House democrats still have about a thousand investigations into President Trump that they can string along to make it seem like he’s done something wrong.

Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are in full-on panic mode over the report being delivered. They do not want Trump getting his hands on it before they can spin it into something it’s not. Here’s a letter they scrambled to put out:

“Now that Special Counsel Mueller has submitted his report to the Attorney General, it is imperative for Mr. Barr to make the full report public and provide its underlying documentation and findings to Congress.  Attorney General Barr must not give President Trump, his lawyers or his staff any ‘sneak preview’ of Special Counsel Mueller’s findings or evidence, and the White House must not be allowed to interfere in decisions about what parts of those findings or evidence are made public,” wrote Chuck and Nan.

And in fact, they already spinning this news:

“The Special Counsel’s investigation focused on questions that go to the integrity of our democracy itself: whether foreign powers corruptly interfered in our elections, and whether unlawful means were used to hinder that investigation. The American people have a right to the truth. The watchword is transparency,” they wrote.

My guess is that since the report doesn’t prove that Trump colluded with Russia, Pelosi and Schumer don’t want this thing to be all that transparent.

Look, “no new indictments” means no collusion. A sitting president can’t be indicted on petty shit like obstruction of justice and campaign finance violations, and there may be some be some of that in the report, but if Mueller had actually uncovered proof of collusion with the Russians, that’s treason and espionage, which Trump could be indicted for.

The best part about this will be Adam “Shifty Schitt” Schiff on the Sunday political shows trying to maintain that President Trump is guilty of something. He has invested everything he has into getting Trump for collusion and now his hands are as empty as his big head and little pants.
