I’ve been begging Joe Biden to run for president since 2015 because I know that his campaign will be the most bonkers thing in US history. On Thursday he granted my wish and didn’t disappoint. He has put out no platforms whatsoever, but instead is running entirely on stopping President Trump from turning America into Nazi Germany. This is no bullshit; that’s his entire purpose for running and in true “Crazy Joe” fashion he launched this mission with a humongous lie.
Biden announced his candidacy with a video that is unintentionally funny. Presumably he had some control over the production and release of this video, but throughout, he is slurring his speech. Maybe he was drunk when he made this or perhaps he’s so old that the motor functions on his mouth don’t work so well anymore. I’m going with both.
The centerpiece of this video has Biden talking about the 2017 Charlottesville, VA rally that saw white supremacists and Antifa leftists clash.
“Charlottesville is also home to a defining moment of this nation in the last few years. It was there on August of 2017 we saw klansmen and white supremacists and neo-Nazis come out in the open. Their crazed faces illuminated by torches, veins bulging, bearing the fangs of racism. Chanting the same anti-Semitic bile heard across Europe in the 30’s,” said Biden.
This is already pretty nuts to base an entire presidential campaign on, but Biden then blamed President Trump with a huge lie. First, he refers to leftist Antifa thugs as “courageous Americans” and then drops this:
“And that’s when we heard the words of the President of the United States that stunned the world and shocked the conscience of this nation. he said there were, quote, some very fine people on both sides,” Biden Said. “Very fine people on both sides? With those words, the President of the United States assigned a moral equivalence between those spreading hate and those with the courage to stand against it.”
Liberals and their media propaganda machine have been perpetuating the lie that President Trump said there were “very fine” Nazis in Charlottesville. The actual context of his statement was that there were historical preservationists, unassociated with any white supremacist groups, who participated in the rally to keep liberal snowflakes from removing Confederate statues.
Trump was asked by a reporter to clarify if was calling white supremacists “very fine people” and he answered, “I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally.”
Taken in the proper context, something liberals never do with Trump, the President very obviously never said nazis were fine people. Based on this lie however, Joe Biden is ready to fight:
“In that moment, I knew the threat to this nation was unlike any I’ve seen in my lifetime,” said Biden. “We are in the battle for the soul of this nation.”
Joe Biden was born in 1942 so in his lifetime he’s seen WWII, the Korean War, the Russian Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War, the oil embargo, the Cold War, and 9/11. Yet for some reason he thinks President Trump calling historical preservationists “very fine people” is the biggest threat he’s ever seen.
“I believe history will look back on 4 years of this President and all he embraces as an aberrant moment in time. But if we give Donald Trump 8 years in the White House he will forever and fundamentally alter the character of this nation. Who we are. And I cannot stand by and watch that happen,” said Biden.
So there you have it: Joe Biden is running for president to stop Trump from turning America into Nazi Germany and nothing else. Since his proof that Trump is Nazifying this country is a complete lie, he has absolutely no reason to run. This is like saying he’s running for president to defeat the C.H.U.D.s. C.H.U.D.s don’t exist and neither does President Trump’s praise of white supremacists, so Biden has no reason to run and should drop out immediately.
That being said, I hope Joe keeps running. He’s only been in the race for a couple of hours and he’s already going bat-shit crazy. I have a feeling tomorrow will be even funnier.
