Biden Plays The Race Card
By Patrick J. Buchanan
As he debated with himself whether to enter the race for the 2020 Democratic nomination, Joe Biden knew he had a problem.
As a senator from Delaware in the ’70s, he had bashed busing to achieve racial balance in public schools as stupid and racist.
As chairman of Senate Judiciary in the hearings on the nomination of Clarence Thomas in 1991, Biden had been dismissive of the charges by Anita Hill that the future justice had sexually harassed her.
In 1994, Biden had steered to passage a tough anti-crime bill that led to a dramatic increase in the prison population.
Crime went down as U.S. prisons filled up, but Biden’s bill came to be seen by many African Americans as discriminatory.
What to do? Acting on the adage that your best defense is a good offense, Biden decided to tear into President Donald Trump — for giving aid and comfort to white racists.
His announcement video began with footage of the 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, highlighting Trump’s remark, after the brawl that left a female protestor dead, that there were “very fine people on both sides.”
“With those words,” said Biden, “the president of the United States assigned a moral equivalence between those spreading hate and those with the courage to stand against it. And in that moment, I realized that the threat to this nation was unlike any I had seen in my lifetime.”
Cut it out, Joe. This is just not credible. Even he cannot believe Trump had in mind the neo-Nazis and Klansman chanting, “Jews will not replace us!” when Trump said there were “fine people” on both sides.

Breaking: Criminal referral filed against Nellie Ohr concerning congressional testimony after emails surface showing election-year contacts with DOJ https://t.co/dLGhKUU1X9

Nellie Ohr’s ‘Hi Honey’ emails to DOJ about Russia collusion should alarm us all
By John Solomon
First came the text messages between FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, which gave us a painful glimpse at potential political bias inside America’s most famous crime-fighting bureau.
Now, a series of “Hi Honey” emails from Nellie Ohr to her high-ranking federal prosecutor husband and his colleagues raise the prospect that Hillary Clinton-funded opposition research was being funneled into the Justice Department during the 2016 election through a back-door marital channel. It’s a tale that raises questions of both conflict of interest and possible false testimony.
Ohr has admitted to Congress that, during the 2016 presidential election, she worked for Fusion GPS — the firm hired by Democratic nominee Clinton and the Democratic National Committee to perform political opposition research — on a project specifically trying to connect Donald Trump and his campaign chairman, Paul Manafort, to Russian organized crime.
Now, 339 pages of emails from her private account to Department of Justice (DOJ) email accounts, have been released under a Freedom of Information Act request by the conservative legal group Judicial Watch. And they are raising concerns among Republicans in Congress, who filed a criminal referral with the Justice Department on Wednesday night.

Explaining Ukrainegate
Via The American Thinker
The election of the president of the United States in 2016 was shamefully overshadowed by the so-called “Russia collusion” hoax propelled by unscrupulous Democratic operatives and their henchmen in the media. Now that Robert Mueller’s report has exonerated the president, the attention has switched to those who really colluded.
Anyone who knew Ukrainian or Russian and could navigate freely through the Ukrainian segment of Twitter and Facebook could observe the echoes of the information war started by Ukrainian officials against the Republican nominee back in 2016. The pretext behind these actions was Trump’s statement that a “good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing.” This statement was perceived with pain by the Ukrainian community because Russia had by then annexed Crimea and occupied part of the Eastern Ukrainian region called Donbas. Ukraine was afraid that the new president would not support it in the fight against Russian aggression. Furthermore, Paul Manafort happened to be a political adviser to President Yanukovych, who was overthrown during the revolution of 2014. Manafort also had continued to help the pro-Russian party, Opposition Bloc, to enter the Ukrainian Parliament until he joined Trump’s presidential campaign.
This was the last straw. Ukrainian elites did not comprehend Trump’s rhetoric; instead, they were biased against Trump because of his association with Manafort. That is why they had willingly colluded with the Democrats.

It should worry everyone that respectful commentary on gender policy like the Heritage Foundation has featured can get people removed from polite society now, or even fired.https://t.co/1EWns2wHYs

Google Dumps Top Black, Female Conservative For Believing Men Can’t Be Women
Via The Federalist
When I spoke this March at an event sponsored by the Heritage Foundation at the U.N. Convention on the Status of Women, I mentioned to the moderator that it must have seemed odd for Heritage to have invited a liberal feminist to their event as it was for me to be there. I went on to describe how I (and many other women) have been fired, harassed, or no-platformed by the left for disbelieving in gender identity fictions, including the existence of the “female penis.”
As odd as everyone surely feels about those we’ve found ourselves agreeing with, we all seem to have found a lot of common ground on challenging a movement that’s mandating parents go along with the chemical sterilization, or surgical sex organ modification, of all children who discover gender identity on Tumblr, or in a PFLAG group, or after a friend at school goes trans. Many people find it curious that such drastic interventions are being proposed for a vaguely defined psychological condition with an ever-expanding list of barely related symptoms.
I certainly didn’t think when I was talking that day in New York City that, only a few weeks later, I’d be reading a news story about the head of The Heritage Foundation getting deplatformed. Yet Google disbanded its entire Artificial Intelligence ethics panel after its employees protested the inclusion of Heritage’s president, Kay Coles James, who wrote about that experience here. The protest wasn’t over the inclusion of a conservative generally, either, but appears primarily related to Heritage’s position on gender identity.
Anonymous employees, calling themselves Googlers Against Transphobia, closed their sign-on statement in opposition to James — an African American — this way: “Google cannot claim to support trans people and its trans employees — a population that faces real and material threats — and simultaneously appoint someone committed to trans erasure to a key AI advisory position. Given this, we call on Google to remove Kay Coles James from ATEAC.”
So, thanks to gender identity activists having quite an astonishing tantrum, a major global technology provider with a questionable track record regarding long-term planning and product support has just abandoned outside ethical review of their AI projects.
