The greatest thing about being a democrat is they can flip-flop and be as full of shit as they want to be and explain it away that they “evolved” on the issue. Take for instance Joe Biden. Just yesterday he was saying that we are obligated to give illegal aliens free healthcare, but not that long ago he thought they were drug-dealing scumbags that should be kept out by a border wall. I know that when President Trump says things like this he’s more racist than Hitler, but another advantage of being a democrat is the raging double-standard that says things are only bad when Republicans say them.
Since Biden announced his 2020 candidacy a couple of weeks ago, all kinds of skeletons have been spilling out of his closet. This is from a speech he gave in 2006 to a South Carolina rotary club. Here he talks about his support for the Secure Fence Act which built 700 miles of double-layered fencing along the US/Mexico border. FYI, both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama voted for this as well.
“Folks, I voted for a fence, I voted, unlike most Democrats — and some of you won’t like it — I voted for 700 miles of fence,” said Biden.
And yet when President Trump says we need a wall on the border, he’s a Nazi.
“But, let me tell you, we can build a fence 40 stories high — unless you change the dynamic in Mexico and — and you will not like this, and — punish American employers who knowingly violate the law when, in fact, they hire illegals. Unless you do those two things, all the rest is window dressing,” Biden continued.
And yet when Trump says illegal aliens take American jobs he’s a white supremacist.
“Why I believe the fence is needed does not have anything to do with immigration as much as drugs and let me tell you something folks, people are driving across that border with tons, tons, hear me, tons of everything from byproducts for methamphetamine to cocaine to heroin and it’s all coming up through corrupt Mexico,” said Biden.
And yet when Trump says that some illegal aliens from Mexico are drug dealers, he’s a racist.
No seriously, when Trump launched his presidential campaign in 2015 he said this which is one of the things liberals always paraphrase when “proving” the President’s racism:
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re not sending you. They’re not sending you. They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people,” said Trump.
Why is Trump racist and Biden not? The correct answer is because Trump has an “R” after his name and Biden has a “D.” The reality is, some illegal aliens from Mexico are drug dealers and rapists and there’s nothing wrong with pointing out facts.
Joe Biden benefits from the democratic double standard that shields him from the things he says and does, but how long can that last? With each passing day one of his old speeches or statements pops up and shows that he’s completely out of touch with the new crazier socialist democratic party.
He’s a hair sniffing pervert centrist democrat who says a lot of the same things Donald Trump does. Eventually this liberal loophole is going to strangle Biden and he’ll be forced out of the race by progressive leftist kooks.
