Socialism sucks…
Socialist Bernie Sanders continues to have problems as he tries to recapture lightning in a bottle to seize the Democratic party’s 2020 presidential nomination.
The braying old crank has run into turbulence now that former Vice President Joe Biden has officially entered the race and opened a massive lead on Sanders and his hardcore followers who are determined to impose socialism on America.
Bernie’s recent woes began when he incredibly advocated for murderers, terrorists like the Boston Marathon bomber, rapists, drug dealers, and child molesters to be allowed to vote from behind bars. While it fits right in with his communist ideology, it was a shocking admission that even turned off many on the far left who distanced themselves from the idea.
Now Comrade Bernie may be sailing into uncharted waters at least according to a new poll that shows that the very demographic that he is most popular with – entitled ignoramus young people who are clamoring for free stuff – is looking for other options than just another old white dude, even if he does speak their language.
The poll – from Morning Consult – should be setting off alarm bells inside Bernie’s command bunker.

Via The Hill, “Poll: Sanders support among young voters drops sharply”:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has seen his support drop sharply among the young voters that have powered his rise in Democratic politics, according to a new poll.
The survey from Morning Consult finds that Sanders’s support among people between the ages of 18 and 29 has dropped from 45 percent in March to 33 percent in May.
Sanders’s support with the youngest voters, who propelled his surprising challenge to then-Democratic contender Hillary Clinton in 2016, has steadily declined in the poll since topping out at 46 percent in late February.
Overall, former Vice President Joe Biden has opened up a big lead over the Democratic field, coming in at 39 percent support among Democratic primary voters polled, followed by Sanders at 19 percent and Sens. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.) and Kamala Harris (Calif.) at 8 percent each. South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg is at 6 percent and former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas) is at 5 percent.
Biden’s support among the youngest voter set has risen from less than 20 points last month to 24 percent in the latest survey.
How troublesome is this for Bernie? According to a 2017 study from the Victims Of Communism Memorial Foundation, approval of socialism/communism was on the rise with this same demographic.

Via Fox News “Millennials think socialism would create a great safe space, study finds”:
Nearly half of all U.S. millennials believe the greatest safe space of them all would be living under a socialist regime.
That’s according to a new study from research firm YouGov and Washington, D.C.-based Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, which surveyed over 2,000 people regarding their views on socialism and the communist political system. The biggest takeaway from the study was that one out of every two millennials surveyed said they would rather live in a socialist or communist country over a capitalist democracy like the U.S.
“Millennials now make up the largest generation in America, and we’re seeing some deeply worrisome trends,” Marion Smith, executive director of the foundation said in a statement to Fox News. “Millennials are increasingly turning away from capitalism and toward socialism and even communism as a viable alternative.”
Nearly 45 percent of millennials polled said that they would prefer to live in a socialist country compared to the 42 percent who said they preferred a capitalist one. Another 7 percent said that the preferred living in a communist country above all. The findings show that the percentage of millennials who prefer socialism over capitalism if a full 10 points higher than that of the general population.
Bernie’s dilemma is largely one of his own creation because once he made socialism cool and it became a dominant force in the Democratic party, it was only natural that he would come to be viewed as an old fogey as the younger generation can find the same B.S. in a package that doesn’t erupt in a cloud of dust loosed from a mummy sarcophagus whenever Crazy Bernie opens his mouth.
Poor old dude, he coulda been a contender but the times have passed him by.
