To say Eric Swalwell’s presidential campaign isn’t going well would be a massive understatement. He’s polling at 0% and none of the networks will even cover him. The California democrat is obviously getting desperate because now he’s promising to get rid of President Trump if you send him 5 bucks. Since this is something he can’t possibly deliver on he is settling himself up for some seriously negative Yelp! reviews.
Here’s the sad lengths Swalwell is going to in hopes of raising some funds and getting any attention:

Really? All I have to do is send Swalwell a fiver and he’ll boot Trump from office? How exactly? He’s a single member of the US House of Representatives and has very little power, let alone the capacity to remove a sitting President. Yes, the democrats are in control of the House, but their glorious leader says she’s not pursuing an impeachment agenda. Even if the democrats in the House were to impeach Trump, the Republican controlled Senate would not vote to remove the President, so this is dumb.
Maybe Swalwell is talking about something a little more extreme when he says he’ll “remove” Trump. I know that Swalwell has threatened to nuke law-abiding American gun owners if they fail to surrender their weapons, so does he have a tactical nuclear strategy for getting rid of the President? Again, he’s a lowly US Rep. who doesn’t have command of our nuclear arsenal, so this is a false promise. It could be considered a threat on Trump’s life, but Swalwell is a democrat which means he is protected by the liberal double-standard and will never have to answer for his horribleness.
Even Swalwell’s auxiliary claims in this shameless fundraising plea are deceptive. He ‘s says “no more Muslim ban” but there never was a Muslim ban in the first place. Trump tried to ban travel from certain terrorist-sponsor nations and this didn’t effect the vast majority of Muslims in the world.
He also claims that there will be no more kids in cages, but that was an Obama thing that Trump stopped. The widely distributed pictures of illegal immigrant children sleeping in cages were from the Obama administration. President Trump never put kids in cages and liars like Swalwell know that, but don’t care.
Lastly, Swalwell says he’ll put an end to Trump taking away women’s human rights? Okay, i’ll bite: when did the President even attempt to take away women’s rights? Or for that matter, when has Trump tried to take away anyone’s rights? Getting rid of our rights is what all the democrats are running on in 2020, but Trump and Republicans only protect and expand our rights.
The thought crossed my mind that Swalwell might be trying to say that if we give him $5 he’ll win the democratic party nominee and remove Trump from office by beating him in 2020. That’s obviously not the case because even Swalwell doesn’t believe he’s going to win. Seriously, the guy has exactly zero support among democratic voters. He ain’t going to be president, the dem’s nominee, or even make it to Iowa next year.
