Democrats continue to distance themselves from all but the most extreme elements of society to curry favor with their radicalized base and by doing so, are risking another crushing loss come next November.
No longer a functional political party, the Dems have gone all-in with socialism, redistribution of wealth, conspiracy theories, authoritarianism and most disgustingly of all – the idea of reparations or stealing money from white people who never owned slaves to give to African-Americans who were never in chains.
It is an idea that was once so far outside of the mainstream that even the hallowed Barack Obama wasn’t keen to it but the 2020 Democrats and a radicalized base will be pushing reparations in a cynical effort to pander to the all-important black vote even if it is a loser outside of coastal elite cultural enclaves and the Twitterverse.
But count President Trump in as one who is skeptical that reparations will be coming to fruition anytime soon and in an exclusive interview with The Hill, the leader of the free world dismissed the idea in the most polite way.
"I think it’s a very unusual thing. You have a lot of — it’s been a very interesting debate." https://t.co/VLIQlnCjPm

Via The Hill, “Trump on reparations: ‘I don’t see it happening'”:
President Trump on Monday said he doesn’t believe the federal government will pursue reparations for descendants of slaves, an idea that has gained traction among some Democrats.
“I don’t see it happening,” Trump said in an exclusive interview with The Hill.
The House Judiciary Committee held the first hearing on the issue in a decade earlier this month, and a handful of Democratic presidential candidates seeking to challenge Trump in 2020 have broached the idea.
“I think it’s a very unusual thing,” Trump said of the possibility of reparations. “You have a lot of — it’s been a very interesting debate. I don’t see it happening, no.”
The interview with The Hill is the president’s latest attempt to appeal to the establishment media after granting sit-downs to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and NBC’s Chuck Todd in what looks like a masterful strategic move to get out in front of the upcoming socialist lunacy of the Dem debates which will horrify moderates and big business who will see a vote for Trump as a vote against extremists.
The Democrats are delusional if they actually believe that reparations and thinly-veiled Holocaust denial with their invocation of concentration camps is going to resonate in a national election and even HBO’s smarmy host Bill Maher warned them that the clown car is speeding for the edge of a cliff if a course correction doesn’t take place.
"If you want to run a campaign based on reparations and concentration camps then it's going to be very hard to win the election"https://t.co/XebkyKcPWp

According to Maher:
“If you want to run a campaign based on reparations and concentration camps… it’s going to be very hard to win the election. I’m not saying you can’t do it, but very hard to argue that this is helping.”
As CNN’s antagonistic gadfly Jim Acosta recently put it – “Trump is crazy like a fox” and the president’s reference to reparations as being a “very interesting debate” seems to be a very sly way of trolling Democrats and the angry socialist left to take the bait by goading them into making the scam the hill that they are prepared to die on.
Now Trump can just watch the hysterical reaction on Twitter as the Dems once again blunder into his trap.
