Nike hired disgraced mediocre quarterback Colin Kaepernick in an attempt to alienate most Americans. Now, he’s apparently calling all the shots at the shoe company because there were still a few people not appalled by them. Nike released a sneaker that has an American flag on the back but recalled them after Kaepernick complained that the symbol of our country was racist. Is there some reason why anyone in this country still buys these anti-American overpriced shoes made in Asian sweatshops by child slaves?
The Wall Street Journal reports that Nike is literally the least American company ever. Unfortunately the WSJ is one of those media outlets like the Washington Post that puts their online content behind a paywall. If only there were some other way to get information from the Internet. Nike Inc. is yanking a U.S.A.-themed sneaker featuring an early American flag after NFL star-turned-activist Colin Kaepernick told the company it shouldn’t sell a shoe with a symbol that he and others consider offensive, according to people familiar with the matter.
The sneaker giant created the Air Max 1 USA in celebration of the July Fourth holiday, and it was slated to go on sale this week.
After images of the shoe were posted online, Mr. Kaepernick, a Nike endorser, reached out to company officials saying that he and others felt the Betsy Ross flag is an offensive symbol because of its connection to an era of slavery, the people said. Some users on social media responded to posts about the shoe with similar concerns. Mr. Kaepernick declined to comment…

The shoes were slated to go on sale July 1st, so these things were shipped and in stores, ready to go. I would actually love to see retailers sell this things instead of sending back to Nike. Make a non-anti-American statement fo a change.
Colin Kaepernick of course dicked himself out of a lucrative career as a back-up QB for the San Francisco 49ers when he decided to disrespect this country and kneel during the National Anthem. He opted out of his contract thinking he was going to get a starting job elsewhere but found out that no team in the NFL wants a shitty America-hating player. He then sued the league for racism and got a big settlement because everything is stupid.
Remember when Kaepernick started the kneeling thing and he and the liberal media tried to say it wasn’t about disrespecting the flag? Well, not like we didn’t already know it, but this Nike episode proves it was all about disrespecting the flag. Kaepernick is literally trying to get the Betsy Ross American flag classified as a symbol of hate.
I can’t help but to see the irony that a company that uses slave labor to make its shoes is punking out by saying that the American flag is a symbol of slavery. No, the Nike swoosh is a symbol of slavery, the American flag is a symbol of freedom.
Nike became a huge company because they sponsored the best athletes at the top of the games like Michael Jordon. Now they are backing out of work benchwarmers whose only claim to fame is hating this country. They clearly want their company to be associated with America-hating losers and I sincerely hope their sales and market share reflects this.
