Equality. How does it work? At a music festival in Detroit it works by charging white people double for a ticket than what a “people of color” ticket goes for. If this sounds kind of racist, it’s not because this is white people being discriminated against. The left has determined that it’s only racist to treat everyone the same, not when blacks are extended special privileges and rights. I can’t wait for the ACLU to ignore this one.
On August 3 in Detroit there will be something called The AfroFuture Fest. I don’t know or care much about this, but the festival’s ticket structure is kind of interesting. White people are being charged $20 for a ticket while people of color get a discounted $10 ticket.
The festival organizer have an explanation as to why this isn’t racist:
WHY DO WE HAVE POC(PEOPLE OF COLOR) AND NONPOC(WHITE PEOPLE) TICKETS? I’M GLAD YOU ASKED!

OUR TICKET STRUCTURE WAS BUILT TO INSURE THAT THE MOST MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES (PEOPLE OF COLOR) ARE PROVIDED WITH AN EQUITABLE CHANCE AT ENJOYING EVENTS IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITY (BLACK DETROIT).
AFFORDING JOY AND PLEASURE IS UNFORTUNATELY STILL A PRIVILEGE IN OUR SOCIETY FOR POC AND WE BELIEVE EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO RECEIVING SUCH.
WE’VE SEEN TOO MANY TIMES ORGASMIC EVENTS HAPPENING IN DETROIT AND OTHER POC POPULATED CITIES AND WHAT CONSISTENTLY HAPPENS IS PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF THE COMMUNITY BENEFITING MOST FROM AFFORDABLE TICKET PRICES BECAUSE OF THEIR PROXIMITY TO WEALTH.
THIS CYCLE DISPROPORTIONATELY DISPLACES BLACK AND BROWN PEOPLE FROM ENJOYING ENTERTAINMENT IN THEIR OWN COMMUNITIES.

I would like to point out that Beyoncé is black and I am white and yet she has way more money than me. Why is it fair that she gets a cheaper ticket than me?
Also, what would they charge someone like pretend-black guy Shaun King? He says he’s a person of color but is most obviously not. What about Rachel Dolezal or Elizabeth Warren? Do they get the POC discount based on their false claims of being minorities?
In a rare display of courage, one of the performers has puled out of the festival over the racist ticketing tiers. Detroit based rapper Tiny Jag, who is bi-racial, won’t participate in this travesty according to The Detroit Metro Times:
Jillian Graham, aka Detroit-based rapper Tiny Jag, pulled out of a local music festival this week because she disagreed with its pay model, in which people of color would pay less for tickets than white festivalgoers.
Graham says after the festival confirmed the price structure, she immediately withdrew from the event and requested that she be removed from any promotional materials. She says because she had publicly supported the festival without knowing about the discrepancy between the ticket prices, that she had to publicly withdraw her support as well.
Graham says that while she is definitely for the goal of putting equity back into the Black community, she doesn’t agree with the method being used to do so.
“It’s non-progressive and it’s not solution-focused in my eyes. It seems almost like it has spite, and unfortunately with spite comes hate, and that’s just not obviously going to be a good direction for us to go if we’re looking for positive change,” said Graham.
I was going to say that I’m not sure any white people would want to go to this thing, but the Detroit area has produced white rappers Kid Rock, Eminem, and the Insane Clown Posse, so there’s probably a decent amount of cultural appropriation interest in the area. Plus white people in Michigan smoke menthol cigarettes. I’m not kidding, just like a crazy amount of menthols.
The Michigan ACLU could not be reached for comment because they were busy filing a lawsuit to protect the rights of transgender illegal alien Jihadis to molest decapitated little girls in private women’s restrooms and couldn’t be bothered with anti-white discrimination.
