Sucks For You CNN; Network Admits No Charges In Trump Campaign Finance Probe

President Trump keeps on racking up the victories in the series of witch hunts and scam investigations that were hoped by his foes to provide the basis for impeachment.

After years of persecution by Deep State dirty cop Robert Mueller who had to fold his tent and slink off without proving that the POTUS colluded with the Kremlin, it seems that Trump just can’t lose.

The latest blow to the Resistance comes with the news that federal prosecutors are unlikely to bring charges in their probe into whether the Trump Organization broke campaign finance laws.

The investigation was being handled by the vaunted SDNY which along with Mueller, had been pursuing Trump with a vengeance.

If you recall, this was the investigation that was touted by the media as the one that would finally reverse the 2016 election and that the supposedly ironclad case would prove that Trump had violated the law with alleged “hush money” payments that were reimbursed to disgraced sleazeball attorney Michael Cohen.

Cohen is now cooling his heels in a New York country club prison and even CNN which promoted p0rn queen Stormy Daniels and her equally scuzzy lawyer Michael Avenatti for months is having to admit that it’s a done deal.

A federal probe into whether Trump Organization officials broke campaign finance laws appears to be nearing its conclusion without any charges filed, CNN reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Federal prosecutors have been investigating whether company executives broke the law, including when they sought to reimburse former Trump attorney Michael Cohen for hush-money payments he made to women who said they’d had affairs with President Trump before he was elected.

People familiar with the probe told CNN that the investigation has geared down and prosecutors do not appear poised to bring any charges against the company’s employees.

The Justice Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Hill. A spokesperson for the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s office declined to comment to CNN, and an attorney for the Trump Organization also declined to comment for its report.

According to CNN:

For months, federal prosecutors in New York have examined whether company officials broke the law, including in their effort to reimburse Michael Cohen for hush-money payments he made to women alleging affairs with his former boss, President Donald Trump.

In recent weeks, however, their investigation has quieted, the people familiar with the inquiry said, and prosecutors now don’t appear poised to charge any Trump Organization executives in the probe that stemmed from the case against Cohen.

A spokesman for the Manhattan US Attorney’s office declined to comment. An attorney for the Trump Organization declined to comment.

In January, one month after Cohen was sentenced to three years in prison, prosecutors requested interviews with executives at the company, CNN reported. But prosecutors never followed up on their initial request, people familiar with the matter said, and the interviews never took place.

Meanwhile, there has been no contact between the Manhattan US Attorney’s office and officials at the Trump Organization in more than five months, one person familiar with the matter said.

This piece of terrible news for the hate Trump mob comes on the heels of last week’s big win for the president in the scurrilous emoluments lawsuit which was torpedoed by a federal appeals court.

When even CNN has to report on it, you know that Trump is on one hell of a roll and with Democrats mired in infighting and addicted to race-baiting and giving free health care to illegals while Americans are unable to afford it, that roll may go on for a long time.
