The American Left Is Racist, Not President Trump

Here we go again. Politicians and pundits are falling all over each other trying to condemn President Trump yet again for some insensitive, allegedly racist tweets.

As Hong Kong teeters on the brink of mass insurgency against the fascist mainland government, and Iran’s brutal theocracy accelerates their nuclear weapons program, the top story this week is “Trump is a racist.”

How do the news anchors and commentators who spew this Trump-bashing pabulum, day after day, year after year, do so with a straight face?

On Tuesday, the U.S. House of Representatives even got into the act, voting 240 to 187 to “denounce Trump’s racist remarks targeting four congresswomen.”

Notwithstanding the fact that interpreting Trump’s tweets as “racist” requires convoluted logic, if we must obsess over race and identity, and apparently we must, it is the American Left where you will find the racists, not the White House.

Are Women of Color Above Reproach?

These women are not part of the mainstream of America. They believe America is evil, they are racialists and anti-Semites. Let’s stop pretending they are garden-variety freshman members of Congress. Irrespective of their race and sex, they’re dangerous women who have been propped up by the media as de facto leaders of the Democratic Party. The power they have can’t be overstated. Criticism from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez forced Joe Biden to flip-flop on a number of issues. Yet any time they are criticized, the knee-jerk response to hurl accusations of racism and sexism at the one criticizing them. Recently, we’ve seen this happen internally in the Democratic Party, when AOC accused Nancy Pelosi of racism, with similar accusations being leveled against Joe Biden from Cory Booker, Bernie Sanders, and Kamala Harris. It’s the default attack setting of contemporary Democrats, even against their own.

This is what happens after years of the left capitalizing on outrage culture and victim culture in order to increase and maintain their political power. This is why they want minority and female candidates to run for office. Not because of some noble push for diversity, but to put out candidates they feel are untouchable because to attack them is to invite accusations of racism or sexism. Let’s not forget that the left spent eight years telling us that if you disagreed with Barack Obama you were racist. Then when Hillary ran for president, if you didn’t like her you were sexist.

Trump Fuels a Tribal War in Nancy’s House

Trump is driving a wedge right through the Democratic Party, between its moderate and militant wings. With his attacks over the last 48 hours, Trump has signaled whom he prefers as his opponent in 2020. It is not Biden; it is “the Squad.”

The four — AOC, Tlaib, Pressley, Omar — have no clout in the Democratic caucus. But because of the confrontations they have caused and the controversy they have created, they have a massive media following.

Paradoxically, their interests in winning cheers as the fighting arm of the Democratic Party coincide with the interests of Donald Trump. He entertains and energizes his base by answering in kind their attacks on him and by adopting incendiary rhetoric of his own. He is now assuming the old “America! Love it or Leave it!” stance in going after the four women as anti-American ingrates.

They, by calling Trump a criminal, racist and fascist for whom impeachment proceedings should have begun months ago, elate and energize the outraged left of their party.

Trump’s Sunday attack forced Pelosi to stand with her severest critics, and she re-elevated the race issue with this tweet: “When Trump tells four American Congresswomen to go back to their countries, he reaffirms his plan to ‘Make America Great Again’ has always been about making America white again.”

Do Democrats believe that refighting the racial battles of the 1960s that were thought to have been resolved is a winning hand in 2020?

Does Pelosi think that demeaning white America is going to rally white or minority Americans to Democratic banners?

U.S. Women’s Soccer Team Goalie Blasts Christian Player: ‘You’re Intolerant and Homophobic’

A few days ago, several news outlets reported that the U.S. women’s soccer team — that recently won the World Championship cup — ditched star player Jaelene Hinkle because of her religious views. Now, the backup goalie of the team, Ashlyn Harris, has basically confirmed that, while simultaneously putting the blame for it squarely on Hinkle’s shoulders.

Harris responded to a conversation between Catholic advocate Obianuju Ekeocha. Ekeocha tweeted on Sunday:

As the Daily Wire reports, Hinkle really is a star player in women’s soccer:

Jaelene Hinkle, 26, “has been called the top left defender in the U.S. game,” according to The Washington Times. Fox News noted Hinkle “helped her team win the NWSL championship and previously helped it win a title in 2016 when it was known as the Western New York Flash.”
However, she is no longer welcome on the team. As Harris’ tweet points out, this is because of Hinkle’s views on traditional marriage. In 2015, for example, Hinkle dared to publicly disagree with the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruling that legalized same-sex marriage.
