Ted Lieu Claims Robert Mueller Was Compromised

On Wednesday, democrats tried to get a do-over by having special counsel Robert Mueller testify before the House. They didn’t like his conclusion that President Trump didn’t collude with the Russians to steal the 2016 election so they hoped he would change his tune in person. He did not. There was one point where it seemed like Mueller implicated Trump in a crime, but then he quickly clarified that he had not found evidence of criminal activity by the President. Democrats could just accept all of this and move on, but they’re democrats so Rep. ted Lieu thinks Robert Mueller has been compromised to lie about Trump’s evildoing.

During the Mueller hearings yesterday, there was an exchange that gave all liberals a collective boner.

“The reason that you did not indict the president is because of the OLC opinion that you cannot indict a sitting president, correct?” Lieu asked.

“Correct,” replied Mueller.

Lieu was referring to the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel’s rule that a sitting president cannot be indicted for a crime. What this exchange told the democrats is that Trump had committed a crime but that Mueller didn’t charge him because of this rule.

Start the impeachment proceedings! Actually, not so fast. Not long after this, Mueller sought to clarify his answer.

“I want to add one correction to my testimony this morning. I want to go back to one thing that was said this morning by Mr. Lieu, who said and I quote, ‘You didn’t charge the President because of the OLC opinion. That is not the correct way to say it. As we say in the report and as I said at the opening, we did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime,” testified Mueller.

D’oh! So close and yet so far.

Democrats obviously cannot admit that Trump didn’t do anything wrong because they’re the ones that put out the busllshit narrative in the first place. California Rep. Ted Lieu went on CNN to spin this garbage in the craziest way possible:

Wolf Blitzer asked Lieu what he thought about Mueller walking back his comment that he would have charged President Trump if not for the OLC rule.

“It wasn’t until the recess and the Intel Committee that he started walk some of that back. I don’t know who got to him, I don’t know who talked to him, but that was very odd,” said Lieu.

Nice grammar, Teddy.

Amazingly enough, Wolf Blitzer called Lieu out on this crap.

“What are you suggesting?” Blister asked. “Are you saying he only did that because of pressure from someone?”

“I don’t know,” answered Lieu.

Finally, an honest answer from the dumbest guy in Congress. I’m reminded of the scene from Fast Times at Ridgemont High where Mr. hand asks Jeff Spicoli a question and the dumb stoner replies, “I don’t know.” Mr. Hand then writes his answer on the blackboard telling Spicoli that he will leave it there all day for his other classes to enjoy. Spicoli is pleased. I’m sure Ted Lieu would have been just as happy if CNN had chyroned his dumbass answer.

Now here’s where things get freaky: Jeff Spicoli was a burned-out surfer and Ted Lieu represents the beach surfing communities of Southern California. Coincidence? I Think not.

Actually the real surprise here is that Ted Lieu delivered this conspiracy theory without appearing on camera in a tin foil hat. He’s not just suggesting, but rather stating, that Robert Mueller changed his testimony because someone was blackmailing him or threatening him with death. If that ain’t crazy, don’t know what is.

All this shows is that no matter how compelling the evidence, democrats will never abandoned the bogus narrative that President Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the 2016 election. ironically, this crazy story almost guarantees that Trump will win the 2020 election with no help from anyone. Actually, they may accuse him of colluding with the democrats to steal 2020.
