Donald Trump is not perfect, but I do feel he has been the greatest US President since Ronald Reagan. He gets additional points for the constant liberal attacks to block his agenda and delegitimize his presidency. That being said, I have finally found something I’m willing to criticize him over. For some stupid-ass reason he is going bonkers on Sweden because the country just charged rapper A$AP Rocky with assault. Come on, Trump. Stick to attacking AOC and CNN. This ain’t worth your tweets.
Rapper A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, was arrested last month in Sweden for a street brawl. I know, it’s shocking that a thug did a thuggish thing, right? Because Sweden doesn’t have a bail system, he’s been sitting in jail ever since.
Here’s where it gets stupid: Kim Kardashian (technically Mr. Kim Kardashian) called up President Trump and asked him to do something about this and Trump did.

Trump contacted Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven with a request that A$AP Rocky be set free. Really? This is a diplomatic priority?
Sadly, the Swedish prime minister was lying with his reassurances that the rapper would be “treated fairly. Today prosecutors, or whatever they call them in Sweden, charged A$AP Rocky with assault. If convicted he could spend 2 years in prison, which is weird since 1st degree murder in most socialist European countries carries a lighter sentence.
In any case, Trump was very upset with Sweden and they got the nasty tweet treatment:

Just stop it. If this thug didn’t get arrested in Sweden, he would have been arrested in whatever country was on the next tour stop. Why is Trump wasting time on this? Take a couple more victory laps over yesterday’s disastrous Robert Mueller testimony and then come up with a new nickname for Joe Biden.
What? Are we going to war with Sweden? Will there be A$AP Rocky-related economic sanctions against the country? As a half-Swede I need my lingonberries and crappy IKEA furniture and won’t appreciate an escalation to this silly international incident.
The thing is, liberals are totally going to use this as an excuse to call Trump a racist, despite the fact the the rapper is black and the President is trying to save his sorry ass. In fact, here’s Kamala Harris doing just that in an interview:
“As president, how would you handle the A$AP Rocky case in Sweden? How will you use your power to make sure misuse of power doesn’t happen in cases like this, and that this case would stay in the State department and not go to the White House?” the interviewer asked.
“There’s no question that this White House is, has been playing politics with his role of leadership, and it has to end. This president, I just want to back up for a second, so you know I have fought predators,” replied Harris.
There you have it: President Trump is trying to help out a jailed black man and Kamletoe calls him a predator while accusing him of abusing his power.
Last week a semi-liberal friend thought he had me dead to rights as a hypocrite when he asked if I ever wrote a negative piece about Donald Trump. I explained to him that the purpose of Def-Con News is not to attack the President or Republicans in general but rather to make fun of the insane left and tell the truth about the biased liberal media.
Well, this one’s for you, Dave. I disagree with President Trump’s A$AP Rocky policies as well as his hatin’ on Sweden platform. I’m still voting for him in 2020 and will laugh for a solid 4 years when he’s reelected.
