The first night of the second democratic debates was such a monumental bore that new-age space cadet Marianne Williamson managed to win in a landslide. The low-polling kook outshined top-tier candidates like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren and she did it saying crazy AF things like warning about Trump’s “dark psychic force.” This was not so much a win for Williams, who will never be the party’s nominee, but a colossal loss for the democrat front-runners.
Tuesday was the first night of the second democratic party debates. For some reason (because they are racist) the party split the debates up by race. Tuesday was whitey night and honky Marianne Williamson went balls-deep to pander the black vote.
First, she sort of addressed the Flint water crisis by blaming it on President Trump’s “bad vibes.”
“I assure you I lived in Gross Point, what happened in Flint would not have happened in Gross Point, this is part of the dark underbelly of American society, the racism, the bigotry, and the entire conversation that we’re having here tonight,” Williamson said.
Now wait for it…
“If you think any of this wonkiness is going to deal with this dark psychic force of the collectivized hatred that this president is bringing up in this country, then I’m afraid that the Democrats are going to see some very dark days,” she added.
I’m not kidding when I say this nut got raucous applause for saying this crazy-ass thing.
For the record, nearly half of Flint, Michigan’s population is white and what happened with their water was due to bad decisions made by the democrats in charge. Also, Barack Obama was president when the Flint water crisis happened and his EPA dropped the ball. President Trump has since given the city hundreds of millions of dollars to fix things, which they’ve chosen not to do. Trump’s “dark psychic force” has nothing to do with Flint’s water.
Then Williamson put her progressive competitors to shame by promising billions in slave reparations:
“We need to recognize when it comes to the economic gap between blacks and whites in America, it does come from a great injustice that has never been dealt with. That great injustice has had to do with the fact that there was 250 years of slavery followed by another hundred years over domestic terrorism,” Williamson said.
She left out the part of how all of that injustice came courtesy of the democrats. That doesn’t matter to her because she wants to use our money to pay black people back.
“If you did the math of 40 acres and a mule, given there was 4 to 5 million slaves at the end of the civil war, and they were probably 40 acres and a mule for a family of four, if you did the math today it would be trillions of dollars, and anything less than a hundred billion dollars is an insult and 200 to 500 billion is politically feasible,” said Williamson.
Again, Williamson got thunderous applause.
For the record, the United States government never promised freed slaves “40 acres and a mule” so using that as a starting point for reparations is dishonest. We fought a war to free them and then have given black people trillions of dollars in social welfare programs. That should be enough.
It’s not my opinion that Williamson won this debate with her craziness, the liberal pundits have spoken.

Glad Marianne didn’t take Sam Bee’s advice and drop out. Unlike many on this stage, she’s contributing something. https://t.co/gn7Ix6rIhi

Like I said, this debate win for Williamson doesn’t mean she now has a viable candidacy. It does however spell trouble for Sanders, Warren, and Pete Buttigieg if they can be upstaged by a certified crazy person. If they can’t beat a 0% kook, it doesn’t bode well for them going forward.
