Liberals have twisted the 2 mass shootings last weekend by people with decidedly leftist ideologies into a crisis of right-wing extremism and white supremacy. Luckily 2020 presidential candidate was able to knee-jerk an insane response to a false liberal narrative in just a matter of days. Mayor Pete has a plan to not only ban guns but also to ban white people from owning them. Don’t worry, this is not racist because it’s white people being singled out.
Buttigieg unveiled his plan to combat legal gun ownership and whiteness in a Medium post:
An Action Plan to Combat the National Threat Posed by Hate and the Gun Lobby
You thought I was kidding, didn’t you? He’s damn serious about ending the scourge of unregulated whiteness. As Buttigieg sees it, black people are the most victimized by “gun violence” so white people must be responsible:
Meanwhile, every day, one at a time, we continue to lose an average of 100 lives to gun violence — disproportionately in black and brown communities — all around the country, including in my hometown.
Weapons like the one I carried in Afghanistan have no place on our streets or in our schools — least of all in the hands of white nationalists.
Isn’t it possible that the violence in black and brown communities is committed entirely by black and brown people? Also, no white nationalists are carrying a weapons like the one Buttigieg had in Afghanistan and he knows it.
In any case, Buttigieg’s plan to put an end to the white man is costly, pointless, and unconstitutional so it’s the perfect liberal solution to a non-existent problem:
Dedicate $1 billion to prevent and combat radicalization and violent extremism…we must dedicate $1 billion to ensure that law enforcement across all agencies and all levels have sufficient resources to counter the growing tide of white nationalist violence.
The plan basically empowers law enforcement to treat white people like terrorists, ignoring their privacy and due process rights. It includes oodles of cash to surveil whites without a warrant. It also allows private companies to discriminate against whites and silence their free speech rights.
Then there’s this:
Close the hate loophole. Hate and bigotry have motivated some of the deadliest mass shootings in our nation’s history. In too many cases, a firearm turns bigoted threats into deadly assaults. In recent years, the number of active hate groups in the U.S. has reached an all-time high. We must pass the Disarm Hate Act, which would prohibit people convicted of hate crimes from acquiring or possessing firearms.
What the law he’s talking about actually says is that anyone convicted of a misdemeanor hate crime or even accused of bias would be banned from owning guns. If passed, it could (and would) be used to disarm Americans by simply accusing their speech or actions of being hateful. Let’s assume it will be liberals making the determination if something is hateful or not.
On the gun control aspect of this plan, Mayor Pete is just as stupid. Take a look at this:
…it remains easier to buy weapons of war than a bottle of beer.
I realize that Buttigieg looks like he’s 12 (and like Alfred E. Neman) but he’s a grown man who also served in the military. He knows that semi-automatic rifles are not weapons of war and that it’s much harder to purchase one than a bottle of beer. Alcohol sales require no background checks and there are no lists of banned beer purchasers.
This “weapons of war” nonsense is tiring from anti-gun liberals but insultingly dishonest from a combat veteran.
No seriously, are cargo shorts “pants of war” because they have similarities to military fatigues? If so can we expect Mayor Pete to put Old Navy out of business for selling pants that have no business on our streets?

As a veteran, I know that military-grade weapons have no place in our neighborhoods. The same is true for high-capacity magazines, some of which can hold up to 100 rounds of ammunition and significantly increase a shooter’s ability to injure and kill large numbers of people quickly without needing to reload. We’ve already decided that certain weaponry — like tanks and rockets — are unacceptable in civilian hands. Congress should similarly reinstitute a federal assault weapons ban and ban magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
There’s tons of private citizen rocket hobbyists and, wouldn’t you know it, about 1000 American own honest to goodness military tanks. We obviously haven’t decided these things are unacceptable in civilian hands since so many of them are in civilian hands and completely legal to own. Also there’s really no Constitutional Amendment protecting rocket and tank ownership, but there is one the covers gun ownership.
This whole thing is a mess of noise and idiocy, but the bottom line is Pete Buttigieg wants to spend $1 billion on jailing and surveilling white people who don’t share in his leftist ideology. That should play well in Middle America where white people are already sick of liberal dickheads like him telling them they are all racist.
