There is no group of people who are more out of touch with reality than the elitist celebrity snobs who sneer down their noses at hard-working, patriotic Americans.
Thanks to the pervasive cancer of social media, the minds of millions have been poisoned by wealthy Hollywood types who just can’t get over an election that didn’t go the way that they wanted it to.
One of those Star-Bellied Sneetches is HBO’s sacrilegious vulgarian Bill Maher whose show provides a weekly fix of boiling hot hatred served up to those who are suffering from late-stage Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Maher has an advantage that the other hate night late-night hosts lack in that being on HBO, he is free to rain down torrents of cluster F-bombs while his adoring audience barks and claps like trained seals.
Like the rest of the rich celebrities, Maher is insulated from the economic consequences of Democrat rule and in an example of this disgusting and self-absorbed attitude he has been cheering for a recession even though it would harm millions of Americans.
On this week’s edition, the host chewed the fat with former White House Communications Director Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci and NBC establishment brown-noser Richard Engel as he doubled down on his cheering for a recession.
Anthony Scaramucci: “You don’t really want a recession”
Bill Maher: “I do. We have survived many recessions. We can’t survive another Donald Trump term”
NBC reporter Richard Engel: “Short term pain…better than long term destruction of US Constitution”pic.twitter.com/oF0TCMpDPK

Via The Hill, “Bill Maher roots for recession so that Trump loses in 2020”:
Comedian Bill Maher on Friday said he “really” wished there was another economic recession, arguing such an event would ruin President Trump’s chances of winning reelection.
During a discussion on his show with panelists including former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe (D), Maher said the U.S. could “survive” another recession but warned it would not withstand a second term of a Trump presidency.
The exchange began with commentator Tom Nichols remarking about Trump’s trade policies, saying “I’m not wishing for a recession, but if the farmers want to keep touching the hot stove.”
“Well, you should be,” Maher interjected. “Because that will definitely get him unelected.”
“But Bill, you don’t really want a recession,” shot back Anthony Scaramucci, Trump’s former White House communications director and a now occasional critic of the administration.
“I really do. We have survived many recessions. We can’t survive another Donald Trump term,” Maher responded.
Maher had previously called for a recession but this time Engel was on his side in yet another textbook example of how the media – and especialy NBC – is more interested in political activism than reporting the actual news.
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel appropriately shamed Engel as well as his employer NBC for his political hackery.
An @NBCNews reporter is actively cheering for an economic downturn.
Richard Engel supports pain for millions of Americans – all to hurt @realDonaldTrump.
How can NBC let him keep his job when he's made his bias so clear?https://t.co/2L7h36BoxG

As for Maher? A man who has no shame is incapable of being shamed.
Like the rest of the Hollywood millionaires, Maher still has a serious case of the red ass over being deprived of invites to all of those soirees at the Clinton White House.
On the bright side for Americans who don’t want the Trump economic resurgence to end because Democrats and their shills are wishing to see the rug pulled out from under them can take some solace in the desperation that a recession is seen as more likely to prevent Trump from being reelected than any of the party’s miserable socialist candidates.
