Disgruntled ex-White House employee Omarosa Manigault-Newman has been joined by another ex-Trump administration figure with an ax to grind against his former boss.
Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci has escalated his beef against President Trump by joining those who are ready to throw the election to the Democrats by calling for the GOP to remove the POTUS from the party’s 2020 ticket.
Anthony Scaramucci on why the GOP may need to replace Trump for 2020: “I'm calling for it to be considered, yes. I think you have to consider change at the top of the ticket when someone is acting like this.” https://t.co/K35h6BwRnI pic.twitter.com/bEReSUsj8k

Via The Hill, “Scaramucci: GOP may need to replace Trump for 2020”:
Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci told Axios on Sunday that Republicans may need to find a candidate to replace President Trump in 2020.
“We are now in the early episodes of ‘Chernobyl’ on HBO, where the reactor is melting down and the apparatchiks are trying to figure out whether to cover it up or start the clean-up process,” Scaramucci, who was ousted from his job after 11 days, told the outlet.
“A couple more weeks like this and ‘country over party’ is going to require the Republicans to replace the top of the ticket in 2020,” he said.
Scaramucci, a prominent Republican donor, said that if Trump “doesn’t reform his behavior, it will not just be me, but many others will be considering helping to find a replacement in 2020.”
Since his very brief turn as White House Communications Director ended after one F-bomb too many, Scaramucci has found new life as a regular guest in the anti-Trump media.
His most recent appearance – on HBO’s “Real Time With Bill Maher” hit a nerve with the leader of the free world who took to Twitter to unload on Omarosa with a pompadour.
Anthony Scaramucci, who was quickly terminated (11 days) from a position that he was totally incapable of handling, now seems to do nothing but television as the all time expert on “President Trump.” Like many other so-called television experts, he knows very little about me…..

Via The Hill, “Trump blasts Scaramucci as ‘incapable'”:
President Trump on Saturday slammed former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci as having been “incapable” of the job.
“Anthony Scaramucci, who was quickly terminated (11 days) from a position that he was totally incapable of handling, now seems to do nothing but television as the all time expert on ‘President Trump.'” Trump tweeted Saturday night.
Trump’s tweets came after Scaramucci said Trump’s visit to survivors of a Texas mass shooting was a “catastrophe.”
He added that Scaramucci “knows very little about me other than the fact that this Administration has probably done more than any other Administration in its first 2 1/2 years of existence.”
Trump also wrote that his former aide “should remember the only reason he is on TV, and it’s not for being the Mooch!”
Trump’s tweet that The Mooch was “totally incapable of handling” the White House communications gig is borne out by fact that his profanity-saturated diatribes that at the time, resulted in him being denounced by the same media that has now welcomed him with open arms.
Not only did Scaramucci become a distraction when he made obscene comments about former White House figures Reince Priebus and Steve Bannon in an interview with The New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza but his temperament along with his mouth were a better fit for a Joe Pesci character in a Martin Scorcese gangster flick.
In fact, CNN – who he is a regular on – once accused him of working for Russia.

Then with a tweet that showed amazing restraint for its lack of profanity, The Mooch became the new voice of the anti-Trump resistance that has a number of candidates in the wings including John Kasich, Jeff Flake and possibly Mitt Romney.
You are losing your fastball— very weak troll. Bullying is the most anti-American thing in our culture and it is emanating from the Oval Office. Many have called and are willing to work on a necessary replacement. Time to call in a good relief pitcher. @potus is lost. https://t.co/7fiFHbd7O6

But what is really at the heart of Scaramucci’s pissing contest with Trump?
Some cynics may be inclined to believe that it is the administration’s trade policies toward China that have soured The Mooch on Trump and not any serious disdain for his actions, parroting the media talking points is only a smokescreen.

By many accounts Scarmucci is at heart, a self-centered opportunist – note his mention of HBO’s miniseries “Chernobyl” only days after he was a guest on Maher’s show – and his willingness to back a candidate who would likely put the rabid socialist Democrats into the White House shows that she is shameless as well.
