The Joe Biden mystery deepens. Normally liberals fantasize about a Donald Trump assassination, but crazy Joe wants everyone thinking what would have happened if Barack Obama had been killed. Why? Nobody knows and, like I said, the uni-colored Rubik’s cube of Joe Biden’s mind just got more scrambled. For a guy trying to prove his mental competency, Biden sure is making a case for involuntary institutionalization.
The New York Times reports on a Biden campaign event that even they couldn’t defend:
Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. on Friday took a series of unusual rhetorical detours at the end of a town-hall-style campaign event…
“Unusual rhetorical details” was the nicest possible thing the NYT could have said about Biden. Here’s what came out of his mouth:
“I think of where we are at the moment. You know, none of you men are old — women are old enough, but a couple of you guys are old enough to remember. I graduated in 1968. Everybody before me was, drop out, go to Haight-Ashbury, don’t trust anybody over 30, everybody not getting involved. I’m serious, I know no woman will shake their head and acknowledge it, but you guys know what I’m talking about. Right?” Biden started.
So, no woman has the capacity to remember the 60’s? Isn’t that kind of sexist? It doesn’t matter because what Biden said next would have everyone forgetting about his weird-ass misogyny.
“But then what happened? Dr. Ki— I only have two political heroes. I have one hero who was my dad, but I have two political heroes were Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy. My senior semester they were both shot and killed. Imagine what would have happened if, God forbid, Barack Obama had been assassinated after becoming the de facto nominee. What would have happened in America?” Biden asked.
Hey, that’s not bad for Biden to get the decade right with the MLK and RFK assassinations. Earlier this week, he claimed the 1968 assassinations happened in the late 1970’s.
Okay, I’ll play this game. If Barack Obama had been assassinated after securing the democratic party nomination Joe Biden would have never been vice president. Hillary Clinton would have been the democratic nominee by default and she would have lost a presidential election 8 years earlier than when she lost to Trump. John McCain would have been president, which wouldn’t have been that different than Obama but at least we wouldn’t have had ObamaCare, maybe. All in all the only impact I see on the country would have been that we would have been spared Biden’s idiocy.
Because they don’t call him Crazy Joe for nothing, he wasn’t quite done saying dumb-ass stuff:
“Things changed. You had over 40 kids shot at Kent State on a beautiful lawn by the National Guard,” said Biden.
I’m not sure what this has to do with the MLK and RFK assassinations or a fictitious Obama assassination, but it’s still factually incorrect. In 1970 the Ohio national guard shot 13 hippy protesters at Kent State University, killing 4. That’s way less than the 40 that Biden is claiming.
Finally, there was this weird thing:
“I remember because I was such a big supporter of the E.R.A in 1972, quote — to show you how things have changed, thank God — ‘Well, you know why Biden is for the E.R.A., he’s probably gay.’ Not a joke,” said Biden.
I’m glad he clarified that wasn’t a joke because I almost laughed. Actually I raised my eyebrows the way I do when I think someone is clearly insane. No seriously, everything Biden said is completely f*cking nuts. This is not a guy in charge of his mental facilities.
We can probably write off most of this crazy stuff to Biden’s senility, but I think the Obama assassination business was a bit of his delusional fantasy. He probably wishes Obama would have been knocked off after winning the 2008 election because that would have been literally the only way Joe would ever become President of the United States.
