The San Francisco board of supervisions have no idea how to fix the rampant crime, homelessness crisis, and streets covered in human waste plaguing their city but it’s not like they are just sitting around on their fat progressive asses doing nothing. They did manage to condemn the country’s oldest civil rights group by designating the National Rifle Association as a terrorist organization. I guess they’re hoping this meaningless gesture will make residents forget that they are stepping in human feces and getting stabbed by bums with dirty needles.
The San Francisco board of supervisions passed a resolution declaring the NRA a terrorist organization:
RESOLVED, That the City and County of San Francisco intends to declare the National Rifle Association a domestic terrorist organization
And the reasons why are simply unbelievable:
The National Rifle Association musters its considerable wealth and organizational strength to promote gun ownership and incite gun owners to acts of violence…
The National Rifle Association spreads propaganda that misinforms and aims to deceive the public about the dangers of gun violence…
The leadership of National Rifle Association promotes extremist positions, in defiance of the views of a majority of its membership and the public, and undermine the general welfare…
The National Rifle Association through its advocacy has armed those individuals who would and have committed acts of terrorism…
All countries have violent and hateful people, but only in America do we give them ready access to assault weapons and large-capacity magazines thanks, in large part, to the National Rifle Association’s influence…
What was that thing they wrote about spreading propaganda and misinforming people? This resolution is based entirely on bullshit and nothing they wrote is even remotely true.
When has the NRA ever incited gun owners to commit acts of violence? The NRA promotes responsible gun ownership and gun safety. They literally teach gun safety classes.
The NRA is very straight forward about guns, gun laws, and the Constitution. Liberals on the other hand make up stats, invent silly gun terminology, and straight up lie about the 2nd Amendment to deceive the public and push for unconstitutional gun control.
What these liberal SF nuts call “extremist positions” are simply the NRA standing up for a Constitutionally protected right. Trying to abolish the right of gun ownership is an extremist position.
The NRA has never armed a criminal and no NRA member has ever committed a mass shooting or an act of terrorism.
A better way to word this would be to say that the NRA fights for the civil rights of all Americans. That the SF board of supervisors is attacking both the 2nd Amendment and the defenders of that amendment makes them shitty people.
And somehow this resolution gets shittier because SF also wants to ban city employees and city contractors from having any association with the NRA:
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City and County of San Francisco should take every reasonable step to assess the financial and contractual relationships our vendors and contractors have with this domestic terrorist organization..
FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City and County of San Francisco should take every reasonable step to limit those entities who do business with the City and County of San Francisco from doing business with this domestic terrorist organization…
Are they going to fire city employees if they are members of the NRA and deny city contracts if any employees of a private company also belong to the NRA? It looks that way. Is it a coincidence that when liberals attack the 2nd Amendment, they also go after the 1st Amendment too?
“The NRA has it coming to them, and I will do everything that I possibly can to call them out on what they are, which is a domestic terrorist organization,” said SF supervisor Catherine Stefani, who wrote the resolution.
Through their failed liberal policies and inaction on real problems, the SF board of supervisors have enabled crime and filth in the city that has resulted in the deaths of innocent people and the destruction of property. That sounds a lot more like a terrorist organization than a group that fights to defend a Constitutional right.
