Captain Ahab Nadler And The Great Trump Whale

Nancy Pelosi is worried. She knows House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler’s senseless obsession with impeaching President Trump could hurt support for Democrats in the next election.

Pelosi said she wants Nadler to drop his “Moby Dick–like obsession” of impeaching Trump. What she really meant was Nadler has a Captain Ahab-like obsession with the white whale that is Trump.

Pelosi also has a burning hatred for the president, but she does have a bit of political common sense left. If she says you’ve gone too far, then you know you’ve jumped the shark—er, white whale!

The Democrats had a lot more unity when the ‘Russia Russia Russia!’ witch hunt hysteria filled the headlines, but when that was proven to be complete and utter bunk it took the wind out of their Pequod sails. Nancy now worries that a further pursuit of the white Trump whale will only make for rough sailing and self-destruction.

Pelosi knows there is no case for impeachment. They Democrats lack the votes for it but Nadler is charging ahead anyway, which will only hurt Pelosi’s agenda. His obsession with impeachment is looking more and more like sedition against a lawfully elected president. Nadler seems willing to go to any length to exact his revenge on Trump, even if he ends up destroying himself and his party.

Pelosi has privately clashed with Nadler over his aggressive impeachment agenda. She knows the public does not support such endless and expensive obstruction.

We all know how the story of Moby Dick turned out, and so does Pelosi.

Child Hostages Obey Their Climate Captors

On Friday, schoolchildren around the world will be prompted to walk out of class as part of the “Global Climate Strike.” These young “climate strikers” will protest alleged inaction on climate change and promote an end to fossil fuel use.

“Our house is on fire—let’s act like it. We demand climate justice for everyone,” the event’s website warns.

It is the latest stunt orchestrated by the international climate cabal and yet another example of how the Left shamelessly exploits and manipulates children to propagandize any cause. (Think of the high school students in Parkland, Florida.) But this time, the climate cabal is using a special-needs teenager from Sweden to indoctrinate more children and adults with climate change dogma.

Greta Thunberg is a 16-year-old from Stockholm—which is ironic because the teen exhibits many traits associated with a hostage attempting to please her captors.

In a way, Thunberg is not the face of a climate crisis but an alarming example of how the climate cabal has needlessly terrified two generations of young people. The emotional, physical, and intellectual damage wrought by the climate change movement now is coming into clear view and it’s an outcome that should enrage every parent.

Watching Thunberg speak evokes a combination of sadness, pity, and anger. She’s diminutive and far more childlike in her mannerisms and presentation than a typical teenager. It’s unclear whether she truly grasps the issue she is promoting—what is clear is that many adults are using her to generate sympathy and support for a dangerous crusade that they, as grown-ups, cannot carry out on their own.

Thunberg, the story goes, became so distraught over climate change that she briefly dropped out of school in 2018 to protest the Swedish parliament. Her climate trauma began at age 8, when she first started hearing tales of climate doom at school.

“When I was 11, I became ill,” Thunberg admitted during a November 2018 TedTalk. “I stopped talking and I stopped eating. Later, I was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome [a form of autism], OCD, and selective mutism.”

She calls her disorder a “super power” and insists that autistic people are the “normal ones and the rest of the people are pretty strange, especially when it comes to the sustainability crisis.”

‘Slave master’: Top Democratic donor allegedly raped and drugged gay black men

A criminal complaint by federal investigators against Edward Buck outlines claims of a history of predatory behavior against gay men by the LGBT activist and Democratic megadonor, resulting in rape, drug overdoses, and even deaths.

Although Buck is currently only being charged with distribution of methamphetamine resulting in death, the 20-page filing by authorities describes numerous instances of vulnerable gay men, many black, who found themselves drugged against their will and sodomized. Most of the nine men who spoke to investigators say they were initially lured to Buck’s residence on promises of money and free drugs.

Many of the victims were prostitutes. In the last two years, two men have died in Buck’s residence of a drug overdose.

Buck, 65, who is white, has also been charged by Los Angeles prosecutors with battery with serious bodily injury, sale or offer to sell or transport a controlled substance, and operating a drug house from Los Angeles prosecutors.

On Jan. 7 this year, Timothy Michael Dean, 55, who was black, was found dead in Buck’s home with “a plastic ring around [his] scrotum and a plastic ring around the base of [his] penis.” A coroner’s report concluded the cause of death was methamphetamine and ethanol toxicity.

Buck claimed that Dean committed suicide by hanging himself, but investigators found no evidence to support the claim. Charges were never brought against Buck for that death, sparking an outcry in Los Angeles.

College courses illustrate the devolution of Western Civilization

UC Berkeley offers over 150 DeCal courses, and the school says they are “an excellent way of meeting the university’s minimum unit requirement” and adds that “all students are encouraged to consider taking a course!” Grades are typically only offered as Pass/No Pass, a sure indicator of the courses’ rigorous nature.

ther DeCal courses offered at California-Berkeley include “Cal Pokémon Academy,” “UC Marvel Cinematic Universe,” and, of course, “UC Hogwarts: The Wonderful Wizarding World of Harry Potter.” Pokémon Academy will cover the history of the franchise and allow for the discussion of “social issues within the Pokéverse.” Ah. According to campusreform.org, students will also have to draw a picture of themselves as a “trainer” alongside their favorite Pokémon and design their own trading card. Whew! I’m exhausted just thinking about the class requirements.

Marvel Cinematic Universe students will be expected to watch several Marvel movies while focusing on the “various social, ethical, political and economic themes that are highlighted within them,” according to the course description.

Those standout students taking on “UC Hogwarts: The Wonderful Wizarding World of Harry potter,” will be asked to contemplate why the Harry Potter book series has been “so compelling to generations of readers.” The class will delve into “the history of magic, witchcraft and wizardry, social hierarchies and the role of race in culture…the role of government and corruption, concentration on authoritarianism.” I see. On the plus side, to obviate the almost unrelenting pressure of trying to understand the “Potterverse,” the young scholars will get to engage in activities such as wand-making and Horcrux hunting.

School Cancels Football Game After Cheerleaders Disciplined for Pro-Trump Banner

It was “America Night” at North Stanley high school in North Carolina and students were decked out in red, white, and blue to mark the occasion. The cheerleaders got into the spirit of the night by posing for a photo next to a banner that said “Trump 2020 Make America Great Again.”
