The United Nations is running a serious deficit and could go belly up by the end of the month. Oh no! If this happens who is going to finance reports accusing the U.S. of human rights violations and racism because American police officers sometimes have to shoot armed black criminals? I say pull the plug on this ridiculous anti-America body of dingleberries. Let the U.N. have the unceremonious undignified death it deserves.

United Nations — The United Nations is running a deficit of $230 million, Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Monday, and may run out of money by the end of October. In a letter intended for the 37,000 employees at the UN secretariat and obtained by CBS News’ Pamela Falk, Guterres said unspecified “additional stop-gap measures” would have to be taken to ensure salaries and entitlements are paid.
With the U.N. running out of money, President Trump says it’s time for other countries to start paying their fair share of the bills.

Which naturally triggered liberals because Trump said it. Here’s Obama’s former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. Samantha Power taking issue with a fact:

Power, being a liberal nitwit, doesn’t realize that she just proved Trump’s point. If the other countries are paying for 78% of the U.N.’s budget, that means the United States is covering 22% of the bills. There are 198 member countries in the U.N. and yet the U.S. pays for almost a quarter of the budget.
If there were 4 or 5 member countries in the U.N. it would make sense for America to cover a quarter of the cost, but there are nearly 200 countries. If things were fair and equitable, the U.S. would be covering around 0.5% of the U.N.’s bills.
Also, the U.N. is located in the U.S. so we host this party. This is like a potluck dinner where most of the mooches show up without a casserole or a three-bean salad.
Making Power look even dumber, the America-hating U.N. General Secretary said the exact same thing as President Trump:
“Member States have paid only 70 percent of the total amount needed for our regular budget operations in 2019. This translates into a cash shortage of $230 million at the end of September. We run the risk of depleting our backup liquidity reserves by the end of the month,” said Guterres.
I guess Power should have clicked on the article before pooping off on President Trump. Then again she is a liberal so she’s only outraged by things Trump says and it wouldn’t matter if someone else said the same thing.
Guterres had asked member states earlier this year to up contributions to the world body to head off cash flow problems, but they refused…
So just let this thing die already. If the member states don’t want pay for the U.N. what is the point of continuing? The absolute last thing that needs to happen here is for the U.S. to pay even more for an international body that works against our interests.
What should happen here is that the U.N. throws the deadbeat member nations out on their asses. If I don’t pay my Netflix fees, I don’t get to binge watch Breaking Bad. Why should Botswana have a forum to bad-mouth America if they don’t feel like paying their dues?
