A Georgia police officer with a remarkably calm demeanor and extremely accurate shot placement put down a feral she-thug wielding a knife and possibly a gun in this just released episode of an October shooting.

Athens police release bodycam video from deadly officer-involved shooting
ATHENS, Ga. — While the incident is still under investigation, Athens police released bodycam video from a deadly officer-involved shooting earlier this month.
The shooting took place on Oct. 14 around 10:15 a.m. along the 100 block of Chalfont Drive when an officer responded to a suspicious person call involving a woman who was said to be armed with a gun and a knife.
As the video begins, senior police officer Lamar Glenn with Athens-Clarke County Police Department notices Bonny Thomas flagging him down.
Anybody with functioning eyes can see that Bonny has a knife. But there’s no mention if the gun she was alleged to have was in her possession. I’ve circled what certainly looks like it could be a gun under her shirt. It’s too long to thick to be her finger, and the angle of it makes it look suspiciously like a pistol to me. In the end it doesn’t matter. She attacked the officer with a knife. Bang.
As Glenn is preparing to exit his vehicle, he sees that Thomas has a butcher knife in one had, the report said.
After Glenn exits his vehicle, Thomas continues towards him with a knife in one hand while her other hand is concealed under her shirt.
Glenn retreats towards the rear of his vehicle while issuing verbal commands for Thomas to drop the knife. Thomas ignores these commands and continues to walk towards Glenn with the knife raised above her head saying, “I have a gun and a knife.”
The video shows that Glenn continues to retreat. He refrains from using force against Thomas until she runs towards him with the knife raised above her head in a threatening manner.

Glenn fires one shot striking Thomas in the torso. After additional officers arrived, ACCPD administered first aid to Thomas until EMS arrived. Thomas was transported to a local hospital where she later died.
I guess I’m a bad person, but I’m mildly amused by her screams which sound like she was surprised she got shot while attacking a cop with a knife. What did you expect, lady? It would be a reasonable assumption that this is exactly what you wanted to happen, so why be so shocked when it did? Maybe it was just pain but it sure sounded like screams of surprise to me.
The GBI is continuing its investigation into this shooting.
Snowflakes will be triggered by this video and howl, “Why didn’t the murderous pig administer first aid?!?!” To which I say it was a wise move not to. The she-beast said she had a gun. If true, it was quite obviously under her shirt and she fell forward on top of it. Instead he keeps her covered from a distance.
In the end, another criminal is dead and with minimal cost in ammunition. Bravo.
