A drug cartel gang murdered 9 Americans in Mexico, which can only mean that liberals are demanding more gun control in the U.S. Sure, this occurred in a country with strict gun control but the left hates to let a tragedy go to waste without exploiting the victims. Presumably this call from liberals means they are terribly disappointed we haven’t had any mass shootings in the U.S. for a while, which is yet another reason why they are horrible people.
Fox News reports:
At least six children and three women living in a faith-based community of U.S. citizens in Mexico were shot to death Monday in the northern part of the country, and six more children were wounded after their convoy came under fire during a brazen daylight ambush believed to have been carried out by gunmen affiliated with the cartels.
All the victims are believed to be members of the extended LeBaron family, who live in a religious community in La Mora, northern Mexico, a decades-old settlement in Sonora state founded as part of an offshoot of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints around 70 miles south of Douglas, Ariz.
President Trump addressed this terrible tragedy with an offer to help the Mexican government wipe out the drug cartels:

A hundred bucks says liberals will seize on the fact that Trump called these murderers “monsters” and accuse him of racism. By week’s end at least one of the 2020 democratic party candidates will claim that Trump called all immigrants “monsters.”

This is liberal logic at its finest. Or worst. Yeah, let’s go with worst.
What they are saying is that because Mexico has a bad crime problem, Americans should surrender their Constitutional rights. How about no?
If they think that the drug cartels are getting their weapons from the U.S. there is a simple solution that doesn’t involve tearing up the 2nd Amendment: border security. President Trump is busting his ass to secure the border. That doesn’t just stop illegals and drugs from coming North, but also guns from going South. Too bad everyone one of these liberal scum opposes any sort of effort to secure our border and enforce our immigration laws.
I think these lefty freedom-haters think Obama is still president and flooding Mexico with American weapons the way his AG Eric Holder did with Operation Fast & Furious. Trust me, President Trump isn’t arming violent drug cartels the way Obama did.
Easily the dumbest thing about this is that liberals think gun control laws will stop criminals from committing crime. Mexico has some of the strictest gun laws on the planet and that doesn’t seem to stop the cartels getting their hands on guns. How would gun control in the U.S. suddenly turn violent drug gangs in Mexico into law-abiding saints?
Americans already surrender too much freedom because of the lawlessness of Mexico. Illegal immigration and the illegal drug trade costs this country both lives and billions of dollars every year. Shame on liberals for demanding we give up more, but liberals have no shame which is why they are trying to exploit this tragedy to push their unconstitutional gun control agenda.
