Supermajority Of Americans Agree That Mitt Romney Sucks

Bad news for the loser who gift-wrapped a second term for Barack Obama…

The early returns are in and it doesn’t appear that Mitt Romney’s new role as a hero of the resistance is going over well with the general public.

The back-stabbing failed presidential candidate has assumed the lead position of a mutinous group of Senate Republicans who will join with Dems in a vote to remove President Trump from office but his treachery hasn’t done much to improve his brand.

If nothing else, Mitt’s assumption of the role previously played by virulent Trump hater John McCain is cratering his already dismal popularity ratings.

This according to the results of a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll that shows that a staggering 4/5 of Americans are if not convinced, then strongly suspect that Senator Romney sucks.

Only 18 percent of Americans have a positive image of Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT), according to a poll released Sunday.

An NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll released Sunday found that only 18 percent of Americans adults have a favorable view of Sen. Romney.

The survey found that only two percent of Americans had a “very positive” view of Utah’s junior senator, 16 percent had a somewhat positive view, 37 percent were neutral, 19 percent had a somewhat negative view, 19 percent had a very negative view, and seven percent did not or were unsure about Sen. Romney.

The latest poll is a far cry from October 2012, when NBC News/Wall Street Journal found that 47 percent, or nearly a majority of Americans, had a positive image of Romney right before the 2012 presidential election.

Romney has served as one of the loudest Donald Trump critics in the U.S. Senate.

The Utah senator has criticized and opposed President Trump’s national emergency on the border, which allows the president to build a wall.

Romney also said that President Trump’s withdrawal of troops from northern Syria amounts to an abandonment of the Kurds. He said that “will stand as a bloodstain in the annals of American history.”

The national results are in line with a recent poll of Utah voters that shows nearly half disapprove of the conduct of their carpetbagging junior senator.

Then there is Romney’s not-so-secret second Twitter account and the moniker Pierre Delecto which generated no small amount of ridicule for Pelosi’s partner.

President Trump has finally begun fighting back against the feckless former governor of ultra-liberal Massachusetts, likely referring to him with a blistering tweet where he blasted Never Trumpers as human scum.

The POTUS also threw down with Senator Delecto who he slammed as a “pompous ass” in another blast from his weaponized Twitter account last month.

There is a good reason for Mitt’s dismal ratings.

It is largely thanks to Romney’s inability to close the deal in what was a winnable election that would have spared America from the second four years of the radical wrecking ball that was Barack Obama that we are in Syria to begin with.

At the time, the former president was reeling and vulnerable but like the spineless wimp that he has always been, the feckless Willard Romney not only held back the knockout punch but turned the other cheek for Obama who was happy to oblige by pimp-slapping him.

Thanks to this choke artist, the nation may never recover from the damage that took place from 2012-2016 when Obama destroyed race relations, poisoned the discourse and weaponized the nation’s surveillance system against political opponents.

And liberals hate him anyway…

So with the poll results in mind, it can hardly be said that Romney will lead his pack of traitors into Trump’s Senate trial with a full head of steam.
