Never Trump Dead Enders Threaten To Start New Party After Cheney Ouster

Entitled petulant brats throwing a temper tantrum…

The removal of Rep. Liz Cheney from her House leadership position isn’t going over well with the Never Trump faction of the GOP which has failed miserably to retake control of the party.

After Wednesday’s fateful vote to flush the neocon turd, over one hundred “Republicans” have prepared a letter threatening to start their own political party if the GOP does “not make certain changes.”

The existence of the group was reported by the New York Times which also published the infamous op-ed published by the paper that was written by a Department Of Homeland Security official who came out as a member of the anonymous “resistance” within the Trump administration.

Miles Taylor who acknowledged that he wrote the op-ed as well as a gossip-packed book entitled A Warning was identified by the Times as an organizer of the effort who is quoted as saying, “This is a first step.”

Failed third-party presidential candidate and “former” CIA spook Evan McMullin was overjoyed. In 2016 he entered the race in a late effort to derail the Trump train in enough western states including Utah to swing the election to Hillary Clinton who was clearly the preferred choice of the Bush-McCain-Romney faction of the GOP.

Taylor is also quoted as;  “This is us saying that a group of more than 100 prominent Republicans think that the situation has gotten so dire with the Republican Party that it is now time to seriously consider whether an alternative might be the only option.”

The Times previews the letter which is expected to be distributed to the media on Thursday; “When in our democratic republic, forces of conspiracy, division, and despotism arise, it is the patriotic duty of citizens to act collectively in defense of liberty and justice,” according to the sample.

Signatories of the manifesto include former Bush regime officials Tom Ridge, Christine Todd Whitman, and Mary E. Peters as well as former House members Mickey Edwards of Oklahoma, Pennsylvania’s Charlie Dent, and Barbara Comstock of Virginia.

It has not been established how many current members of Congress would bolt for a new party but in addition to Cheney, the list could include Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Adam Kinzinger who all sided with Democrats on impeachment.

On Tuesday, the increasingly unhinged Cheney remained defiant and delivered a fire breathing speech in which she quadrupled down against Trump who she claims is on a “crusade to undermine our democracy,” once again throwing around the D-word that is used to impose regime changes on foreign countries under harsh terms.

Like the rest of the Democrats and their media mouthpieces, Cheney is very worried about what the Maricopa County vote audit might disclose and the prospect that ballots that don’t reconcile with the voting machines could lead to a wider examination of last year’s controversial election. An election that Trump insists was rigged.

The ugly truth that a bunch of angry RINOs who worked to undermine former President Donald J. Trump during his four years in the White House would break away and jeopardize efforts to wrest control of the House back from Nancy Pelosi speaks volumes and it amounts to a childish temper tantrum, one with grave implications for the future of the nation.
