Virginia Democrats Want Your Guns And Now They Have The Power To take Them

Written by guest columnist Llewelyn Moss

Well, that didn’t take long. Now that the Virginia Democrats have gained full control of the Commonwealth (Senate, House, Governorship, Attorney General, both U.S. Senate seats, to name a few) they are coming for your guns.

Outside money poured into Virginia, the birthplace of Robert E. Lee and the headquarters of the NRA, during this past election cycle.

CNBC reported that Everytown for Gun Safety — a gun control-advocacy group largely bankrolled by billionaire Michael Bloomberg — “spent $2.5 million this year to influence voters in Virginia versus approximately $300,000 by the NRA, which has its headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia.”

It stinks that money rules the country and wins the elections. But it’s a reality we must live with. And, it’s one of the factors that helped Mr. Trump become Mr. President without being beholden to anyone other than his voters.

The day after the election, the Governor was already publicly pushing his proposed gun control policies.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday that Northam wants to bring back eight “common-sense” gun control measures that Republicans shot down during a special session in July, prioritizing “universal background checks, banning the sale of assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, restoring the law that limits purchases to one gun a month, and a red flag law that would empower a court to temporarily remove a gun from a person deemed to be a risk to himself or others.”

As for confiscating legally purchased “assault weapons”, Northam stated, “That’s something I’m working [on] with our secretary of public safety. I’ll work with the gun violence activists, and we’ll work [on] that.”

It sounds like “The Blackfaced Moonwalker” wants your black scary guns.

One result of these most recent confiscation threats is that there will likely be a run on guns, ammo, and accessories. I would also suggest military grade waterproof storage containers.

Look for private sellers, make your purchases with cash, and think about what you bring to the range. Big Brother WILL be watching.
