You can tell how poorly the democrats’ impeachment inquiry/coup attempt is going by the level of hysteria from their partners in the liberal media. CNN just accused President Trump of literally killing people in the Ukraine, which indicates democrats have nothing. The facts of the case, the lack of a crime or impeachable offense, and the “star” witnesses with secondhand opinions indicated they were shooting blanks, but this “Trump is a murderer” thing cements the weakness of the democrats’ push to overthrow the duly-elected President of the United States.

Taylor’s testimony revealed that in visits to Ukraine’s Donbass front he was told that at least one or two Ukrainians were dying every day in a hot war with Russia for control of the Ukrainian coal production region. American aid was desperately needed, and delay meant death to Ukraine’s soldiers. The conclusion any reasonable person would draw from such testimony is that the President’s threats and the actual withholding of aid was aiding and abetting Russia. It was also causing the death of brave Ukrainians, American allies defending their homeland. All of this so Trump can beat Biden in the next presidential election. In some respects, it actually sounds far worse than Richard Nixon throwing a few dollars to the Watergate burglars and then elaborately covering it up. No one died as a result of Nixon’s theoretically impeachable offenses.
Define “reasonable person.” Clearly no one at CNN qualifies as this.
The first problem with this premise is that there was no set date for the military aid to the Ukraine to be sent. It was approved by Congress, but they never said it had to be sent at a specific time. It just needed to be disbursed before the end of the fiscal year, which it was.
The second problem is, just because the Ukraine got a check from Uncle Sam doesn’t mean the Russians would no longer be able to kill Ukrainian soldiers. A fat bank account doesn’t stop bullets. Even if they got it in cash and wrapped their soldiers in it, a 7.62 round would have no problem piercing a stack of twenties.
Ukraine would have to get the money and then spend it on military stuff and then deploy that military stuff. Even then, there’s no guarantee that it would stop Russia from killing Ukrainian soldiers.
By the way, Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014 under Obama’s watch. The former president gave exactly no military aid to Ukraine and thousands died. I did a search of CNN stories accusing Obama of literally killing thousands of Ukrainians and couldn’t come up with one single line or even a tweet.
CNN is running interference for the democrats because they are failing so spectacularly in their effort to oust President Trump. There’s no actual evidence of wrong doing so they are hoping you’ll be outraged by their claim that Trump murdered people. This is as fact-free as the quid pro quo/extortion/bribery charges democrats have leveled.
There’s only been one day of public hearings in the democrats’ sham impeachment inquiry and things are going so badly that the liberal media has to accuse Trump of murder and being worse than Nixon. When the second round of dud witnesses are rolled out it’s a certainty that desperate democrats and their propaganda machine will accuse Trump of committing genocide and being worse than Hitler.
