New Scandal Involving Black Community Hits Buttigieg Campaign

Via The Daily Wire

Far-left Democrat presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg is facing a new scandal involving the black community after reports surfaced over the weekend that indicated Buttigieg falsely claimed to have endorsements for his plan to reach out to the black community, used a stock photo from Africa to depict African-Americans, and falsely claimed that the plan had support from hundreds of black voters who were actually white.

Buttigieg has struggled to gain support among black voters because of how poorly the community fared under his leadership as the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, and over how he handled an officer-involved shooting of a black man.

The Intercept reports:

In July, he released his campaign’s chief piece of policy outreach to black voters, called “The Douglass Plan: A Comprehensive Investment in the Empowerment of Black America.” The plan covers everything from criminal justice reform to public health care, education, and beyond. It proposes using federal contracting rules to increase the amount of contracts going to minority- and women-owned firms to 25 percent, and offers student loan deferment and forgiveness to Pell Grant recipients who go on to start businesses that employ at least three people.

Buttigieg’s campaign began promoting a list of 400 black South Carolina voters that it claimed supported his plan, but it turned out that nearly half of the list was white.

Dog Day Afternoon

Via American Greatness

A corrupt media attack on Trump’s praise of a military working dog underscores Democrat ties and disingenuous motives.

As Islamic State boss Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi learned last month, when a military working dog (MWD) shows up at your compound, you might have a problem. While U.S. Special Forces disposed of al-Baghdadi’s praetorian guard, MWD Conan, a Belgian Malinois, chased down the whimpering ISIS boss in a tunnel, where the terrorist blew himself up with an explosive vest.

Conan was injured in the operation, and President Trump says he wants to bring the hero dog to the White House. As that visit awaits, Trump has already been a target for the deployment of the canine.

“Humans may use animals for war, but we mustn’t abuse them,” proclaimed a column in the Sacramento Bee, which came across as something written by the ASPCA. As writer Markos Kounalakis explained, whether human lives are worth more than pets is “a debate worth having,” and “we are increasingly deploying eagles, dogs and dolphins against growing tech threats, big bombs and drone delivery systems.” Down lower, Kounalakis acquires his primary target.

“The Trump administration accepts the killing of journalists as the strategic cost of doing business. Given this indifference to human suffering, perhaps U.S. lawmakers should condemn Jeddah’s animal cruelty to focus the American public’s mind on how the kingdom mistreats not only its domesticated animals but its humans, too.” The author also cites China’s “practice of torturing dogs before feasting on them at an annual festival.” By implication, Trump accepts that, too.

Corrosive Campus Court Culture Seeps Into Congress

Via The American Spectator

Due process protections died more than a decade ago.

While many seem bewildered by the biased proceedings in the show trial surrounding the impeachment of President Trump, the truth is that due process protections died more than a decade ago with the election of President Barack Obama. And, although some may claim that the Obama administration’s formal removal of due process protections through a “Dear Colleague” letter only applied to Title IX cases on college campuses, the reality is that progressive politicians have been steadily creating a culture in which all citizens — including a sitting president and a Supreme Court nominee — are vulnerable to losing their constitutional right to a fair hearing on any issue.

Under the April 4, 2011, Obama mandate, the constitutional protections of innocent until proven guilty, right to counsel, and the right to cross-examine witnesses were removed from those accused on college campuses. The mandate also forbade schools from using professional investigations of criminal conduct by law enforcement authorities to resolve Title IX complaints. Campus judicial systems were mandated, and the Office of Civil Rights demanded that schools resolve complaints on “an expedited basis.” Worse, the Obama administration demanded that any due process protections afforded to accused students should not “unnecessarily delay” resolving the charges against them.

Those who were accused were denied the ability to appeal a guilty verdict, but the accuser could appeal a “not-guilty finding” against the accused — ensuring that accused students end up being retried even after they have been cleared of wrongdoing. “Guilt” was based on the weaker standard of the “preponderance of evidence” rather than the stronger standard of “clear and convincing” evidence of guilt.

Inevitable-Everyone Hates Kaepernick Now

Via PJ Media

n the three years since Colin Kaepernick knelt his way off of the San Francisco 49ers and out of the National Football League, the one thing the drama has lacked is ambivalence. People either hated him or viewed him as social hero who was being mistreated and prevented from playing the game he loves.

Now everybody just hates him.

Throughout his supposedly unwanted hiatus from football, Kaepernick and those representing him have insisted that he is staying in playing shape and merely wanted a chance to showcase his skills for a team.

Last week, the NFL offered him that chance. The Nike hero was supposed to work out for twenty-five teams in Atlanta last Saturday.

As most of you probably know by now, the workout was derailed a bit because Kaepernick did what he truly does best: act like an insufferable primadonna.

At 2:30 p.m. Eastern time, with about two dozen scouts waiting at the Falcons’ facility, Kaepernick announced that the workout would be moved to a high school an hour away. Many scouts threw up their arms and headed straight to the airport. Dozens of reporters and cameramen drove south to the high school field.

The NFL — which often gets things like this wrong — responded like adults, but if you read between the lines here, you can see that they’re really over Kaepernick.

Texas Teacher Scolds Parents Protesting Drag Queens in School: ‘You Don’t Know What is Best for Your Kids’

Via Big League Politics

Texas teacher Anthony Lane has laid the agenda bare of what public schools are doing in regards to the LGBT agenda.

The English teacher at Willis High School recently took to Facebook to denigrate parents who believe that it is improper to have events featuring drag queens at the school.

“I believe that raising a child is the responsibility of the community, and that parents should not have the final say. Let’s be honest, some of you don’t know what is best for your kids,” he wrote.

Lane made it clear that he believes the parents should have no say in what their kids are taught, and that indoctrinators such as himself should have total control over the children’s minds.

Lane made it clear that he believes the parents should have no say in what their kids are taught, and that indoctrinators such as himself should have total control over the children’s minds.

“Parents believe they should be able to storm the school in the name of political and religious beliefs if something happens in the school that they are morally opposed to. They forget that we make a promise to prepare their children to live in a diverse world. We are not required to protect the misguided, bigoted views of their parents,” Lane wrote.

“If you want your children educated with your values, find a private school that will do it. The public education system is not here to serve your archaic beliefs,” he added.

San Francisco’s Poop Problem: 25,000 Reported Cases Of ‘Human Or Animal Waste’ In 10 Months, Data Show

Via The Daily Caller

The City of San Francisco’s Department of Public Works responded to tens of thousands of “human or animal waste” reports in the first 10 months of 2019, according to the city data.

The department responded to 25,084 such cases from January through October of this year, according to the city’s 311 data portal.

The city is averaging more than 80 waste cases reported to the department every day in 2019 and is on pace to surpass last year’s number of excrement reports, the publicly available records show.

The department had more than 23,300 cases through the first 10 months of last year, which had already seen a sharp increase from 2017. The city government launched a $750,000 “poop patrol” in September 2018 to combat the problem, though that hasn’t stopped this year’s numbers from topping last year’s.

The city’s incoming district attorney, Chesa Boudin, pledged not to prosecute quality-of-life crimes including public urination.

New Emmy Category Announced: Best Covering For A Pedophile

Via The Babylon Bee (Satire)

NEW YORK, NY—The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has announced a new category for its 2020 awards show: “Best Covering for a Pedophile.”

ABC News and CBS News are favorites for the award, with CNN in a close third. The former two nominees covered up a huge news story that could have brought down Jeffrey Epstein and fired the woman who leaked audio of the story being discussed, while CNN has been reluctant to report on the cover-up carried out by the station’s peers.

“We want to recognize those television news stations that bravely get information that could bring down a rich and powerful pedophile and then hide that information from the public,” said a NATAS spokesperson. “News reporting is a vital part of ensuring criminals get away with exploiting people, as long as those criminals are our friends.”

“Democracy dies when the people are informed,” he added.

NATAS admits it’s going to be tough to pick a winner and suspects that there will be dozens of nominees in this particular category by the time Fall 2020 comes around.
