This is who they are…
Rep. Rashida Tlaib has become the second member The Squad to become embroiled in serious ethics issues and it may threaten her political career.
The Michigan firebrand is now facing an expanded probe by the House Ethics Committee into siphoning off money from her 2018 congressional campaign as a personal stipend after the campaign had ended.
She joins fellow Squad member Ilhan Omar who is also facing questions over campaign finance violations and payments to her lover during a steamy adulterous affair.
Rep. Tlaib left a considerable digital trail of emails and texts in which she demanded money from the campaign, material that is now in the possession of the Ethics Committee.

Via The Washington Free Beacon, “House Ethics Board: ‘Substantial Reason to Believe’ Tlaib Used Campaign as Personal Piggybank”:
The board of the Office of Congressional Ethics announced Thursday that it found allegations that Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.) used campaign funds to enrich herself were credible enough to warrant a deeper investigation.
The ethics panel’s report said there is “substantial reason to believe that Rep. Tlaib converted campaign funds from Rashida Tlaib for Congress to personal use.”
Tlaib received two potentially illegal payments from the campaign after the last general election, according to the report. A salary payment of $2,000 occurred on Nov. 16, 2018, and another payment of $15,500 occurred on Dec. 1.
FEC records, first covered by the Washington Free Beacon, showed that Tlaib paid herself a total of $28,000 in payments from the campaign between May 6 and Nov. 6. The Dec. 1 payment of $15,500 marked a significant increase over what she paid herself during the campaign.
Payment for work during the campaign is legally permitted, but payment for work afterwards would violate the law. Emails indicate that Tlaib was paid for work done after the campaign as the Dec. 1 check was labeled as payment for work between “Nov. 16, 2018 to December 31, 2018.” The election occurred on Nov. 6.
BREAKING:
Rep. Rashida Tlaib is officially under House investigation from the Ethics Committee for illegally diverting campaign funds
Didn’t she want to impeach Trump for alleged campaign finance violations?
Where are the Democrat calls for her removal?

Both Tlaib and Omar have benefited exponentially from their alliance with socialist Twitter diva Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who continues to be a sought after personality by the media that created her.
And both of them may be headed for a fall with Tlaib potentially facing a nightmare scenario at the worst possible time.
Now that Tlaib is facing an ethics investigation, her reelection may not be a slam dunk next November as she is vulnerable to the family of recently deceased Rep. John Conyers making a play to wrest control back over his old district.
The Dems’ vaunted “diverse” freshman class has been in the headlines for all of the wrong reasons and in addition to Tlaib and Omar’s ethics issues, there was the scandalous tale of now-former Rep. Katie Hill.
The California freshman resigned under pressure amid the swirling controversy over her “throuple” lesbian affair with a subordinate after explicit nude pictures of Hill – one with a bong – were published.
Not good optics for Nancy Pelosi and one more reason why the Speaker is perfectly happy to allow the sham impeachment proceedings to dominate the new, they make for a very nice smokescreen to obscure the corruption of high profile members of her caucus.
Will the ethically-challenged anti-Semite Tlaib pay with her House seat? Stay tuned.
