After polling and market research, democrats discovered that people didn’t like or understand the term “quid pro quo’ so they decided to accuse President Trump of “bribery” in the sham Ukraine impeachment inquiry/coup attempt. Last week a star witness for the democrats testified that she had no knowledge or proof that the President bribed, attempted to bribe, or accepted a bribe. On Tuesday, 2 more star witnesses agreed that there was no evidence of bribery whatsoever. Don’t worry, House Speaker nancy Pelosi is on this as she’s already changed the charge against Trump to “abuse of power.”
On Tuesday democrats rolled out Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and VP Mike Pence aide Jennifer Williams, both of who claim some firsthand knowledge of the phone call between President Trump and Ukraine president Zelensky. Neither offered testimony of an actual crime being committed but both felt personally offended by the call because in this hoax of an investigation, “feelings” are apparently relevant testimony.
When it came time for Republican Rep. John Ratcliffe to question the witnesses, he got right to the heart of the matter. Was there any evidence of bribery, the crime democrats accuse President Trump of?
“Last Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said that President Trump committed the impeachable offense of bribery, evidenced in his July 25th call transcript with president Zelensky,” said Ratcliffe.
And here we go:
“Ms Williams, you’ve never used the word ‘bribery’ or ‘bribe’ to explain President’ Trump’s conduct, correct?” Ratcliffe asked.
“No, sir,” replied Williams.
‘Col. Vindman, you haven’t either,” asked Ratcliffe.
“That is correct,” affirmed Vindman.
It couldn’t be any more clear; there was no bribery. That should be the end of it, but Ratcliffe decided to further devastate the democrats’ bogus claims.
The Texas Republican put a giant stack of transcripts in front of him representing all of the testimony from all of the witness in the impeachment scam.
“The problem is, in an impeachment inquiry that the Speaker of the House says is all about bribery, where bribery is the impeachable offense, no witness has used the word ‘bribery’ to describe President Trump’s conduct. None of them,” stated Ratcliffe.
Ratcliffe went on to say that he searched for the word “bribery” in nearly 4,000 pages of testimony from hundreds of hours of testimony and no witness used it against Trump.
“Six weeks of testimony, hundreds of hours of testimony, thousands of questions asked, thousands of answers given. The number of times that witness have been asked any question about whether or not President Trump’s conduct constituted bribery…is zero. The number of times witnesses have used the word ‘bribery’ or ‘bribe’ to describe President Trump’s conduct in the last six weeks of this inquiry is zero,” Ratcliffe said.
Ratcliffe did however find one use of the word “bribery” in all of the transcripts, but it’s not exactly what the democrats were hoping for:
“The word “bribery” appears in these 3,500 pages exactly one time and ironically it appears not in a description of President Trump’s alleged conduct, it appears in a description of Vice President Biden’s alleged conduct,” said Ratcliffe.
Boom!
While the liberal media is spinning these public hearings as being bad for President Trump, this little snippet of testimony is the only relevant thing anyone should be reporting. The democrats say Trump is guilty of bribery, but all of the witnesses disagree. This should be cased closed but democrats are determined to overthrow the President and aren’t concerned by the inconvenient facts.
