What do you write about when you have nothing to write about? Our LEOs haven’t posted any body cam shots worth watching (no lungs flying out thug’s backs as Joe “Pedo” Biden claim), Donn and Brian are covering the impeachment thing, and they’re way better at it than me. That kind of stuff is not in my wheelhouse.
So I just wanted to post a word of gratitude for all of you who read and comment on our website, and also to those who read it and might not comment. I know how that goes. I read Downtrend for two years before I dared posting anything as a commenter. I was worried about losing my job for holding conservative views. Then one day I just said, “Fuck it,” and William Munny was created. I started posting on Downtrend and you all accepted me.
As Harbinger once said, I “come from our ranks. I indeed do. Once Downtrend began to disintegrate, somehow I was lucky enough to get Donn Marten to allow me to write for his “Fleeting Freedom” site. From that beginning, we decided it would be a good idea to unite the clans. Those from Fleeting Freedom, those from Brian Anderson’s Def-Con News, and those who would have no community left to converse with on Downtrend.
I thought giving our friends at least two writers from Downtrend would be a positive thing, plus I could fill some space. I only wish our beloved V. Saxena was involved. Alas, he’s writing elsewhere and getting paid for it. Can’t blame him for not wanting to write for free as we do. Still, we miss him.
But what we have here is a place of great community. People who defend one another against the vile trolls who would assault us. A place where like-minded individuals can speak their conservative minds without fear of being censored, which is what happens on Fakebook . . . censorship.
For lack of a better term, this is a “safe place” for us. Nay, this is our bunker. Safe spaces are for queerdo snowflakes. This is a bunker and if any librtard freak assails it, they will be defeated.
It’s rare that any site has a community as great as this one does. A community of insightful and intelligent posters and people who aren’t afraid to speak their minds and be un-PC.
Beyond that, a community that supports each other through their personal struggles, whatever they may be. We’ve had a friend die here. Before she left us she spoke with many of us on the phone, including myself a week before she passed. We were all there for her, as we will always be there for any of our friends in need.
I just thought you all needed to be appreciated for being our friends, indeed our family. We will never give up the fight.
Thank you all for reading. Although I am in contact via phone with some of you, the rest of you are some of the best people I’ve never met. And here’s to hopefully meeting in the future.
